Hi Larry, Thanks so much for your review of the Swagman XTC2 Tilt #64671 Great work! I watched it and wanted to ensure that you move your wife's bike a bit to the side so that the hook comes down on the lowest part possible of the Bar Adaptor. This helps prevent the bike from falling off should the wheel trays ever shift during transportation. Also, be sure you never exceed 35lbs per bike capacity. Thanks for the amazing review and enjoy the use of your new Swagman rack! Best Regards!
Thanks so much for these tips Dave and I certainly will apply these tips to ensure safe transportation of our bikes . Much appreciated. Do youv work at Swagman by the way ? You certainly have excellent knowledge of this bike rack!
Two items for you Larry. 1. My problem is getting the first bike (nearest the tailgate) on and off the rack. Do you lower the centre post first? 2. I am considering e-bikes. Like your Devinci most of them are over 40 pounds. My Swagman XTC2, non-tilt, indicates a max. weight of 35 pounds per bike. Does the tilt version carry a heavier load? Happy cycling.
yes Peter , I have to lower the centre post before putting my wife's bike on the rack , which goes on first, as this is the easiest way , and I don't want to scratch my tailgate on my new SUV. My wife's bike is at least 40 lbs and and mine is a little heavier and there has been no issues with having these two bikes on the rack, over 3 months now .
good question , there is some wobble, especially when on rough roads for example, but it is very minor . This is a very stable rack , with our 2 bikes on it , and has stood up well for 2 years we have had it
Awesome review Larry! Thanks for this!!!
Great review Larry! I've been in a bike-rack wormhole, and you might have just sold me on this one!
I'm looking at the XTC2 and XTC2 Tilt for my long wheel base recumbent bike.
Great video, excellent review. Very helpful.
Thanks! I have a ladies bike and this was the most helpful video out there!
Glad it was helpful!
I’m gonna check that bike rack out. Just bought Barb a new electric bike

Great video. How difficult was to assemble it from the box?
I actually had the business Trucks Plus , where I ordered it , they did the install , did a great job and very reasonable price
@@LarryWarden Thanks for that info
