He didn’t rape Serena he assaulted her. He was a shitty character for a lot of the show, but he shows actual growth and development that allows him to be worthy of Blair and his friendship with Serena and Nate (I wanna say Dan, but I’m not so sure if they were actual friends).

Dan wasn’t necessarily a bad boyfriend. His relationship with Serena was just a bad one because they both had 0 compatibility. He was good to Vanessa though and he was the best boyfriend to Blair- they were probably the healthiest couple on the show.

But I think out of all her boyfriends the one who eventually grew to be the right person for her was Jess. Logan was the same person he was at the age of 21, Dean was married not to mention way to “White Pickett fence” for Rory. I think Jess was the most compatible in the end.
Mia Antezana I couldn’t agree more 😊 I am a team Jess as well. I didn’t like dean he was way to good to be true.. ended up cheating on his wife with Rory. I didn’t like Logan as well he lead Rory on a destructive path that made her drop out of Yale. Then there’s Jess... I think I am such a big Rory and Jess fan is because they also dated in real life. But they had chemistry.. I enjoyed there relationship even if it didn’t end well
K Marie he even encouraged her to go back to Yale too, and she took his advice to go to back to Yale. I honestly can’t stand Logan. He is so annoying and it was shitty of him to bring Rory to a wedding when all the women he slept with were there, and how he just assumed they were broken up. Dean was ok at the start but he was very controlling.
Finally someone called Lucas on his shit he was horrible and I think Peyton and Lucas enjoyed being in a love triangle

I find it interesting the type of things people will forgive when a guy is very obviously a crappy person. Especially crappy in a relationship. I feel like Jess needed a second chance after he got his act together and still understood Rory better then any of her other boyfriends despite being a friend for the rest of the seasons. It feels like they are smart together and understand that both needed to improve themselves before being in a committed relationship. But Rory now from the last time we saw her, she isn't someone I would say should be in one currently.
Yeah, he was a lousy boyfriend but unlike Rory's other boyfriends he grew up and evolved. Not saying that erases what he did but it does say something about his character as an adult. Logan obviously has Peter Pan syndrome.

Jess was the worse boyfriend by far. He didn't mature until AFTER his relationship with Rory had ended. The title of this video is "Top 10 Worst Boyfriends in Teen Dramas." Jess was a terrible boyfriend to Rory. Period. He was rude, dismissive, arrogant and an asshole to everyone including Lorelai. He didn't even have the dignity to break up with Rory, he just left. I simply can't understand how people keep putting him on this pedestal just because he was smart and had similar interests to Rory. Sure the other guys were not great but none of them ghosted Rory.

Logan was by far Rory’s worst boyfriend. He cheated on her, took her to a wedding full of women he cheated on her with, and he thought that by just giving her grand gestures she was going to forgive him, he let her dad treat her AND him like asses, he was a terrible influence, as Rory lost most of her good qualities when she started dating Logan. Jess was a bad boyfriend but Logan was just even worst.
Ummm there’s more to Bruce...he got Chloe pregnant and practically didn’t even have the balls to talk to her about anything or be concerned at all. So he definitely deserved to be #1 on this list

JasColeWood that’s part of why it’s disturbing how some people support their relationship (I know we all have different taste but still). He was responsible to stop the relationship no matter how it started and he continued to see her knowing she was his student and even had an interest before she was his student. He really should’ve been locked up and fired for having a romantic relationship with one of his students.

I can’t believe it took me so long t realize how much of a toxic couple Chuck and Blair were. I looked back on the show recently and Chuck is honestly such a terrible person and boyfriend. They may have had chemistry but Chuck and Blair were over for me once he sold her for a hotel. He never prioritized her and basically emotionally abused her and I’m so done with how much both Chuck and his relationship with Blair was romanticized. Thank god he’s finally being called out.

Ben was not a bad boyfriend. He was there for Amy knowing that she was pregnant with a baby that was not his and was still there for all of her choices with the baby.
Agreed. He made mistakes and goofed up but he was supportive when he was around and pretty much always kind to Amy in their relationship. Kid wasn't even his and he was prepared to dedicate himself to Amy and the baby, even got illegally married to her at 15 (sadly, it was invalid). Overall, flawed but not the worst tv boyfriend or even close.
I will admit Jess wasn't the best when he was younger but Logan was a worse boyfriend to Rory. He cheated on her and then in the revival slept with her continuously while being engaged to someone else...

AwakeningSunshine they were all kind of horrible in their own ways, but I always thought Jess was best for her. I mean, he encouraged her to go back to Yale when she dropped out. And after he encouraged her to go back she decided to go back.
So glad that Chuck is on this list, but at the same time literally every character in Gossip Girl is terrible at first and in the end he's friggin amazing.

So Jess is a bad boyfriend because there was miscommunication? That Rory grew up in a life of privilege and never once considered how uncomfortable her family was making him? Lorlai spent the entirety of him being on the show bashing him, to anyone, but especially his own uncle. All because she felt as if Jess was Rory’s Christopher. Turns out with how Jess ends up helping her go back to Yale and all the stuff in the mini series, he was her Luke all along. But as it stands in the show that kind of hostility was never going to work. That was the fatal flaw in Jess/Rory.
But I digress, no Jess isn’t the worst boyfriend in that show. Dean marries the kind of woman he said he wanted and promptly cheats on her with Rory. Logan is the version of her dad that Lorlai believed Jess was. Jess is literally the least common denominator in that show.
I absolutely love that Ezra from Pretty Little Liars was included in this list. When watching the show the first time around I thought it was great. Some honorable mentions of bad boyfriends would be Colt Bennet from the Ranch.
I feel sympathy for Jackson he is gay but he was to afraid to say it.
Emilie DV I don’t think they had the intention of making Jackson gay until the actor himself actually came out a few years later and they decided that it would be a good idea to add in that representation so I don’t think Jackson’s behavior could be chalked up to him being in the closet and was moreso due to the fact that Jackson was just a dick lol

Nora Girl the first episode but did you kept watching? There’s something called character development
Nora Girl it was on gossip girl (I can see how those names can be confused though). I mean I didn’t care for him too much the first few episodes but saw that he can actually be a decent human being after Serena falsely accused him of sending the stuff that she first thought was him and then went to his place and apologized.
@@maria-ie6zd What character development? He traded Blair for a hotel in season 3 and held her down and tried to hit her in season 4. Even by the end they only got married so she couldn't testify against him when he committed manslaughter against his father.

I don’t think Jess wasn’t the worst boyfriend Rory had. I liked Jess and he grew as a person in Gilmore Girls. He and Rory had a lot in common.
As much as I love Jackson, his and Lydias relationship was the best when he was dating Ethan and she was dating Stiles. They were good friends but bad lovers.
What about JD from Heathers? He killed 4 people (in the movie Heather Duke dies, too so that makes 4), was about to fake Veronica’s own suicide if she didn’t cooperate, and he was gonna blow up the school but he ended up blowing himself up. Oh, and he also lit a friggin cigarette off of Veronica’s burnt hand...
You should make a part 2 and include Rick from Degrassi.
