Twist ending! It IS pronounced like 'ay-sauce.' And apparently I mispronounce Shein, too. Be right back, Googling "How to Pronounce 'Liv Tyler'"...

REMME ! Super off topic but i was watching a video by “regan asmr” she was talking about a video with one finger mic scratching and soft speaking by remme that she found so relaxing from a subscribing request. so I spent like an hour trying to find the video she was talking about since I love mic scratching videos. And At some point I put the pieces together and realized it was the video I requested smh. Lol.

Hi Remme 💗 I know this is random but I’ve always wondered how old you are? I don’t think you’ve mentioned it before somewhere! Also, I’m usually a silent viewer but I’ll take the opportunity now and tell you that you’re pretty much my fav asmrtist at this point! Thank you for your videos 🐢🌿

Even though I'm a guy, I definitely identify with this video and my fast fashion addiction. Shein and romwe are by far my worst addictions. But I also love more expensive stores like Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch. Either way I shop way to much and I loved this video so much. I even caught my self on shein looking at bags while in the middle of watching this video.
It's so hard to not want to shop. For a while, in this year alone, I'd order something almost everyday, and receive things in the mail almost everyday. I've calmed down a lot in the past couple weeks but everything is dropping for spring right now. It's so difficult. Especially living more north all I want are new cute clothes for warmer weather.
I'm going to try and continue my no order spree. So we'll see.

Honestly, i get you! I used to be very similar but honestly charity shops and second hand apps like depop/vinted helped me ease off so much! That might be a great way to slowly reduce how much you buy online! 😌

@@annamason8996 I find its even easier to spend money on those sites but tbh I'd rather buy pre loved, but I do love me so good deals on new stuff too 😭

I find your videos calming. Maybe with your clothing hauls, you could show us what they look like on and do some ASMR fabric scratching that way. Just an idea. Carry on doing what your doing as your voice is so relaxing.

Oh Remme, I feel so strongly about the topic of fast fashion as well. I struggle so much. My fiancee and I live below our city's poverty level, so right off the bat I can say I have not been able to shop the way I use to when I was working, but I have certainly been there. In fact, last month I cleared out half of my closet, almost entirely fast fashion that I had bought while living in Michigan and hadn't worn since I moved to Texas (way too hot for a lot of my Michigan clothes). I have one brick wall, and that happens to be the struggles of my size. I don't know how much you know about the plus size shopping blight, but it's currently a problem that in order to get trendy clothes, most plus size people have to shop places like shein. Stores "meant" for us like Lane Bryant or Torrid are stuck in the 90s and early 2000s in terms of fashion. I love crop tops and milk maid dresses and leggings too, but the options outside of fast fashion that are accesible to me is so difficult-- even thrift stores, shopping for my 4X size can really be a downer. I have stood in a thrift store and cried because the one item I found fit everywhere except my breasts.
I really appreciate how candidly you speak, always. I relate to the "in your feelings, shopping in bed". I have a collection of tabs on my iphone labeled "wishlist", I online window shop too much. I was also financially abused growing up, so I often have a "money burning a hole in my pocket" and get a lot of joy out of buying things. I am wishing you the best of luck in your goal, but also want to remind you to be gentle with yourself if you do slip up! Everything is a process 💛💛 also, if you're still on tiktok, I'd love to follow you! I sometimes post on mine as well! Mine is just @hannahopheliart

You deserve to treat yourself, but acknowledging you have a problem is a big start to being able to control yourself and become mindful next time you hit that “order” button.
Also stores won’t throw away returned clothing unless damaged so maybe you should in person shop, it’ll also make all the clothes tangible which will help you be like “whoa, do I really need all this” rather just have an online cart. Even tho online has way more options and is more accessible.
Also also, I’ve always purchased Nike my entire life and recently stopped due to Nike unethical & immoral political stances and has been the hardest thing to stop buying. But theres always alternatives. As long as you stick to your ideals, you’ll feel better knowing you have that control in your life rather giving into the what’s popular.

I imagine you're tall as you have slender model vibes. Not that all models are tall. What is your height? I also enjoy the vocabulary you use and now far off topic you get sometimes. I would love more videos of you reading!

I used to have a problem online shopping and needing to look fabulous 24/7.
I moved to Spain in 2020 with a handful of clothes thinking I would be able to go back to the UK to fetch more, but the pandemic prevented it... so for 2 years I have been wearing hand-me-downs from my sister-in-law/mother-in-law/cousin-in-law! It's been so freeing and humbling to leave it all behind and wear absolutely anything.
    It's a process xx
