In 2022, an illegal immigrant murdered my mother while she was driving for Uber, dumped her body in the backyard of a stranger's backyard like garbage, and then proceeded to drive her stolen car back to Mexico before the police stopped him and arrested him.
Her death ripped through our lives effecting me, my family, her friends, and those throughout our community. Those who say "It will never happen to you" or "It doesn't affect you" underestimate the way it shatters your illusion of safety and demonstrates your naivety, and at that point it is too late.
Enough is enough. It’s time to stand up and fight back.

Sorry to hear that. I have over 27 years of experience in IT. I have so much experience and school. I have an MBA and Bachelors degree in IT. Graduated Summa Cum Laude. I was the Chief Technology Officer. I even tried getting another masters degree in family and marriage counseling. After 3 years I had 3 classes and 2 residencies left. Unfortunately I ran out of financial aid. During that I was trying everything I could to get a job. I would send 10 emails daily to companies stating what I can do for them. Did that for 10 months and got zero responses.
Contacted all IT staffing agencies. All ghosted me. Worked with career services to redo my resume. Ended up paying hundreds of dollars to redo it. Did absolutely nothing . Still in the same situation.
All charity an good will I had has been exhausted at this point. Right now there is large family of mostly women an children near us that has free housing (convinced the home owner who rents it out they are starving an homeless), free money and EBT for nearly every adult member of the large multi-generation family.
They have been seen buying flats of sodas in bulk then turnin round and selling them along with the fruits they were getting for free in the farmers market!
My family wanted to help them, they sold it that they are a widowed woman an large family fleeing war an persecution. Buy the more I got to know em the more troubling things I have noticed.
