I think women should start loving themselves. Self love is so important and it gives you confidence. The long term complications of these surgeries are not known. If you die from BBL, the men will move on. Women … love your bodies, work out, control your diet and slay.❤
I think Morayo is muddling up issues. You don't go out seeking malaria neither do you go out seeking an accident. Malaria treatment is not 50/50, what you're talking about is medical malpractice or negligence, which is what Mariam talks about. You cannot liken the scars you have or diseases or illnesses to BBL surgery. They are miles apart. BBL surgery is elective, you choose to do it because of non-life threatening conditions. Other cases can be life threatening so don't mix them up. Like Maryam said, fashion will come and go and trends will expire. What is most important is to build the person to love who they are from a young age to encourage self esteem. It is the lack of self esteem that made bleaching popular and external influences to change people. Some people are insecure and that is what this is. It is insecurity because you are worried about the way you look and you want to adjust the way you look. What happened to your bum? Is it that there is no pad enough when you sit down or your bones are touching the chair? If people are doing it for the grams, men or any other mundane reason, they are insecure. Even when I hear Mariam, I like her view but I still sense the big influence of oyinbo this nd oyinbo that. This means Nigerians as a whole need a renaissance as a society so that we know who we are and appreciate who we are and what we are as a people so that we don't keep copying here and there. We see this in our society where we like foreign things and we are insecure to appreciate what is our own. We always want to be like others so bad, even our politicians are insecure, they want to build outside and buy homes outside Nigeria. We need a mental revolution of our psyche.
36 is not middle age lol very far from it actually. Many people will do what they need to do to feel fulfill. Now with the BBL, people aren't informed about the high risks of it. It is one of the most risky procedures so much so that the top surgeons in the US have closed their doors on this particular procedure, as they do not believe it is worth tainting their careers for in the case of a death. The idea of going under for BBL and you are still jumping cabs is WILD! RIP to the lady.
