@@baynemarrowe2003 in terms of fasting thats not a problem, but we cannot pray in mosques right now and normally theres big feasts in public (at least in turkey) but because of corona we cannot celebrate properly like always :/ its kind of sad but at least we can fast and eat at home and try to help those in need

I'm not trying to justify the lady, Lee HyeJung, that much. I'm trying to say that she's a very straight forward person, just like Jessi. No filter, and speaks whatever comes to mind. Miss Hye Jung doesn't have ill intentions, everyone else in the room know that. She is just saying it how a friend would say it. As an Indian eating ketchup kind of sauce with rice is kind of weird to me..but we do something very similar with pickle sauce. Traditional pickle sauces are all cooked vegetables with various spices. Just add pickle sauce to rice and done. But our pickles are more spicy taste than sweet. But I would LOVE to try this bibimbap. I would put some oil in a pan, heat it up and add that gochu rice and stir fry! Then add the veg and eat ^^. I think stir-frying would make it tastier.

The Kashmiri dried chillies that are sold in Malaysia supposed to have similar taste to the Korean chillies(hong-gochu) and it's better to grind the dried chillies to powder rather than use the ready made one cause I'm not sure what type of chilli is used and chillies powder is usually bitter.
