JUST DISCOVERING THE AMAZING JIM GLASER,.wow,.....more talent in his little finger than singers of today have in their entire body...,....and class abounds.
I don’t even listen to what is called “ country music “ today! With a very few exceptions, the performers are terrible! Jim could sing circles around all of them, and it’s a horrible oversight that he and his brothers aren’t in the hall of fame ‼️
I actually got goosebumps and a lump in my throat when I heard Jim Glaser sing his songs again and how wonderful he still sounds. When they were singing as a group their "harmony" was unbeatable. One could never know where one left off and the next began singing. Sweet Memories! Thank you for airing this.
I was so privileged to see this wonderful singer and his brothers many times at Wembly Country Music Festival. Jim on his own was something extra special. Love him always. XXXXX
Beautiful beautiful voice he never lost his love of music.hope he is on those clouds singing loud and clear with his brothers and Marty and so many other greats.
Jim and his brothers....were so very UNDER appreciated and Under rated.....which I can't understand....why? But I believe management and direction in the business did not pan out as well for them. They needed someone STRONG and BELIEVING in their artistry and talent. THese boys were the TOP for me of all time....I have never heard sibling harmony like you hear with Jim and his brothers Chuck and Tompall.
I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed listening to the beautiful voice of jim --my late husband & I used to love to play the glaser brothers music--so many yrs ago--particularly love jim's voice--thank you so much for posting this vidwo!!!
A great high harmony voice always has that bit extra , Jim was right up there with with legends like Ira Louvin, Vince Gill, Jimmy Fortune etc but I think that special "timbre" in his voice just gave him the edge over them all.
What a treat to hear and see Jim Glaser, from just last year! His voice is still amazing!.. I just his hit single from the 80's, "If I could only dance with you" He and his Brothers have given us a wonderful legacy of beautiful harmonies and great classic country music.
I'm usually full of trepidation about singers of a certain age in whether they can still sing and if they never know when to call it a day, but goodness me Jim Glaser still hits the spot. He deserves to, because you can just tell he's such a nice guy as well as a first class vocalist.
OH MY GOSH...what a Huge TREAT this is to find.....What an opportune to have to be able to record/tape Jim singing....what a sharp and still VERY CLEAR Tenor voice.....WOW..still TOPS for me....I have been a #1 fan of the brothers ever since they started...have alot of thier records and items from early days.....this is a GEM....Thanks for sharing....NO VOICES come close to the Glaser Brothers....accept their Nephews are doing a SUPER JOB...amazing how much they sound just like their uncles.... Ken from Orlando, Florida
JacobsOompa I'm a hugh Jim Glaser fan and have been for a long time. It's nice to read about someone else who loves to hear Jim sing. Jim is over seventy now and can still sing very well.
Randall McCraney Yes...actually he is over 75 yrs old now....and still likes THE BEST around.....I still get Goosey bumps when I hear his clear wonderful voice....WOW....very few ever reach this time in life....so clear and pleasing to the ear. I can listen to him all day and nite. His brothers were great...WOW....the BEST TRIO of sibblings I have ever heard in my lifetime....I am only a few yrs younger than Jim.... It may be silly....but I am STILL CRAZY about TOMPAL and the Glaser Brothers.........Ever get a chance to hear their nephews.....unbelievable how much they sound like their uncles.....They are siblings to an Older brother whom did not sing with the Younger Trio. Thanks Ken
I was blowing away when I knew he had passed he was such a good singer and a kind person I wish I knew what was wrong with him he was in Millington years ago and my sister and I gave him a rose
How I love this man and his music.I would like to know if he is still alive and still singing. He is one year younger than me and it's so hard to believe he still sung like this at that age! Simply amazing!!!
faye spendley Jim was still alive & still singing when you wrote this. But sadly..he passed a year ago. I always wanted to see Jim in person..but never got the chance. RIP Jim & your beautiful golden voice.

paul holmes Thus, the Texas Troubadour Theatre is one of the elements that keep the world turning on its axis. I will see you all there! There is one way out of the mess we are in - you are hearing it here: music.
I completely agree with the comment that when Jim sang you knew that you were in the presence of greatness ‼️
There aren't words to describe how I feel when I watch this man sing. You just have the feeling you are in the presence of greatness.
JUST DISCOVERING THE AMAZING JIM GLASER,.wow,.....more talent in his little finger than singers of today have in their entire body...,....and class abounds.
Talent like this is sorely lacking in country music today.
It's hard to believe he has passed away. I have both of his albums. Love his music.
R.I.P. to a great singer.
Jim had such a fantastic voice. It's a shame that as an artist, he was never given the notoriety he truly deserved.
Yes, an awesome voice.
Not being a grammar nazi but notoriety means famous for a bad quality or deed so I’m sure you meant esteem or honour!
I don’t even listen to what is called “ country music “ today! With a very few exceptions, the performers are terrible! Jim could sing circles around all of them, and it’s a horrible oversight that he and his brothers aren’t in the hall of fame ‼️

I love Jim’s singing.and the songs he wrote are great.

Jim Glaser still has that wonderful voice, and he is not young. I love his voice, I love Tompall and Chucks voice too, they aren’t young either 🤗👍❤️
Magic.
Awesome voice!
I love this man!!!
What a voice!
Jim never got the accolades he deserved, he was a class act with a voice straight from the depths of his heart.
Totally agree with that. Jim had the most beautifully haunting voice I've ever heard. Much loved & much missed!! :-( :-( RIP Jim Glaser.

soars! ... soars .. ! ... glides! ... dips down into the emotion of the thing ... rises ... lives it! Every note full of the experience, whew!
What a voice incredible how good his range of notes is even athis mid seventies

Great Voice Great Man.
I can’t explain how Wonderful Jim Glaser and his Brothers could sing.Love them so much .❤️.
great man great singer
Jim is in his mid 70's and still sings like THAT! I can't think of a singer of any age that can sound like that. Great!
I had the pleasure of seeing this wonderful man and his brothers many years ago at wembley ,still sounds great.
Narvel Felts comes to mind.
I have a crush on him.
I was also very impressed with his voice on a recent Marty Stuart Show rerun. He was very prolific, very clear pronunciation.
@@queenmortensen3634 I ALWAYS had a crush on Jim..and I miss him terribly!! :-( :-(

'If I Could Only Dance With You' the most underrated song of all time (IMHO).
Along with Lights of Albuquerque..which should have been a number 1 hit.
@@budderkupp1282 totally agree!
RIP Jim.
Jim's music is so endearing - telling a story that many of us have lived, then and now
Still makes it look easy, singing so gracefully
Jim is like his brother Tompall, he can sing anything and do it uniquely.
Jim sings better.
Thanks for what you do. Still one of the best tenor voices of all times. He gave such a great sound to his brother's singing.
Yes, Jim, Ira Louvin , and Jimmy fortune , the greatest high tenor voices ever.
Of the 3 Glaser brothers..Jim's vocals were far superior!!
@@budderkupp1282 I agree. He didn't get the recognition he deserved. Love his voice.

Listening to Jim here you would never think he was in his seventh decade. It seems natural voices don't fade , Connie Smith is the same.
This is really fantastic love this song from Jim great voice thanks for this great post
