Extremely Greasy - Main Shopping Centre Sewers

In this video we have some blocked toilets I was called out to, this was an interesting one it looked like it cleared itself but I'll show you that anyway. Next we go to a loading bay in a local shopping centre with another company this is a blockage we found on site while doing a different job. There is plenty of blue roll and grease to deal with. We are definitely going to have to attend with our combo to sort this site out.

Those were the largest chunks of crease I've ever seen in my lifetime & I come from a childhood of using Crisco Shortening for Sat Morning Fish & Pancakes(large box's)

Is that fat an grease going into a separator or in the sewer line , in the US that has to go into a grease separator according to EPA

They probably have grease traps, but they never get emptied.

Yes It should go thru a grease trap but people tend to not get them emptied regular enough, there are a lot of restaurants at this site

they should have there own grease traps that are maintained regular(but I bet they don't) , the shopping centre get the bill but id imagine they include this kind of work in with the rent.

Who was jetting the first drain compared o the second?

The guy jetting the first drain has his own company and we help him out where he needs a more powerful jetter, tanker or cctv survey. Or if he is unable to cover his work. I jetted the second manhole

@@Keep_itflowing - I noticed he wasn't pushing the jetting hose as far up the drain channels as others do (I watched the rips on the hose and the water). I knew you had done the second. Your technique is far better.

@@Keep_itflowing - It's no use if they're not going to jet all the way up as it defeats the object. I certainly wouldn't want them jetting my drains.

Another question to do with the jetting attachment to clear my downpipes. Do I need to attach a specific piece of hose or a special fitting to connect it to my Hoselok hose? Tyia

We bill the other drainage company for calling us in they then send a bill for everything to their customer.
