  • The unsettling trend of Extrajudicial Killings is on the rise. A method once used mainly by the US and Russia is now being increasingly adopted by many more countries, mostly targeting defectors and opposition living abroad. With these methods ostensibly looking like a path for governments to end their most vocal opposition without consequences, the appeal is certainly clear. However, some worry that the normalization of these incidents may lead to a future where killings of controversial figures become more and more frequent on a global scale? We put this to our panel of experts.
    On the panel this week:
    - Sean McFate (Georgetown)
    - Andrei Soldatov (CEPA)
    - Greg Miller (Washington Post)
    Intro - 00:00
    PART 1 - 06:38
    PART 2 - 28:22
    PART 3 - 52:02

I really love your work. I think it’d be better if you guys had subtitles at least for the names of people, countries, organizations, etc. so that we can see the spellings of them. Thank you for the hard work regardless!

Re:3rd guest and outrage against extra judicial killings.
I don't think Extra judicial killings is going away. What we might see is a detente - rules of engagement will be tightened and then they will be floated to make a point.
Also India's RAW doesn't send assassin, they create contracts and let local gangs fight it out for the spoils. Nijjar was in the thick of organized crime in Canada. India has used intercine gang conflicts to get to their targets, they have been doing so since the late 90s.

It's a good thing you don't have ads on your videos as this would be hit so hard.
