The ones that are forced (caused by weak caracter and education) by social media-ads,.... dictated how to BE cool and hip so they only brainwashed to love SHIT!!music !!! , and are deaf to real emotional - educated - interesting composed and story telling music.
Barlow is the man, no doubt, but Stu is an excellent vocalist. I saw Iced Earth just three days ago in Copenhagen. They played well and Stu's vocals were amazing! Cant wait till the new album comes out, they played a couple of songs from it, and it sounds like they are really taking advantage of Stu's potential, the song "If I Could See You" is one of the best songs they have ever made 🙌
Stu's more versatile. He can dive low into Barlow's main register while being able to pull of the higher stuff that is Ripper's signature. Very few vocalists have that kind of range.
I agree, Dystopia is amazing, but I think that the reason the new album isn´t that good, is because they changed producer, usually their producer have been Morison, but it isn´t anymore. Also they changed drummer, and Raphael sucks compared to Smedley. But still, there is only like two good song on the album, (Plagues Of Babylon, If I Could See You)
Mickey Holm Being new to Iced Earth as I am, I liked the new album ASIDE from "If I could See You", and maybe Among The Living Dead. Parasite was wonderful, PoB was good, and their Highwayman cover was probably the highlight of the album imo.
This band is just absolutely perfect. I never really gave them much of a chance before stu joined but gave them a chance once stu left into eternity and joined with these guys. Very much impressed. Probably one of my favorites.
And he has even more talent! His haters just can't stand that Iced Earth has a vocalist at least as good as Matt is, imo even better! He is more versatile than all former IE vocalists together! And it is not about being a fan of his or Matt's. It's just a fact! To all Matt's fans - you have Ashes of Ares with Matt now, go post your comments there.
The Scattering of Ashes is one of my favourite metal albums just because of Stu's vocals. I loved his work in Dystopia, but I agree that it didn't express his full range.
That it was bro, both times they cm 2 Cyprus 1st at Pavilion Hall & 2nd at Ancient Kourio were both pure Metal perfection🇨🇾💯 Makari na na mas xanartoun k twra p efie o Stu Makari na xanagyrisei o Matt tha ne epos metal 🎸
It was scorching hot (as is every summer in Cyprus). add in the jet lag and the grueling extended sound checks in the 40 -C heat and u got yourself an answer!
Dan.. propably the production will be different... i's not complete I suppose for the same reason they didn' tupload the 720 or 1080p quality. the Blue ray dvd with 5.1 will be different.
Bu konser bizim orda oldu kıbrısta süper bir şey Türk Topraklarının bulunduğu bir yere yapılan süper bir DVD destekliyorum satında alıcam. THANK'S for everything.
Μετά το επικό ALIVE IN ATHENS....το επικό LIVE IN ANCIENT KOURION!!! ICED EARTH RULES..Τυχαίο που και τα 2 αυτά DVD γυρίστηκαν στις 2 αγαπητές μας χώρες?Όχι....
Its supposted to be like this studio version with double second chorus First time when I heared this song I was like - man they should repeat the last chorus , the song would be way much better... And my wish become true when I heared this :) Thats the baddaz song dude I hope one day that they will remaster this song to be the same like this :)
Oh I thought you were commenting on playability. Yeah, you're right, the mix is a bit dry...crowd was pretty loud and should have definitely been included. Instead the ambient mics are picking up the pyro which are off. Anyhow, it's a performance worth watching, they were at the top of their game that night. I saw them 2 weeks before that show in the UK and it was an entirely different band
I have heard them live in Belgium and stu block sounded way better then, especially when he screams with his super high voice. Someone knows how it comes? Was he in a bad day or did something went wrong with the recording?
on the other hand the 5.1 version of the DVD should sound differently.. I bet this is just a sample. that's why it's not even 720 or 1080p. i'm expecting the DVD to be better.
Why there isn't many Great American metal bands such as Iced Earth? Cause, Most of the Greatest Metal bands are either British, or Scandinavian... ( For instance: Korn and Limp Bizkit are Shit! )
+Punk Walid There are a lot, but you might only have heard of the nu metal groups in the 90s. These days, our "forefront" bands are groups like Iced Earth, Kamelot, High on Fire, The Sword, and the bands that are still around from the NWOAHM (i.e. Killswitch Engage, Trivium, etc.). There are others out there, but American doom took a huge hit when Peter Steele died. We still haven't found someone to replace him. Luckily, the 80s thrash outfits are still around and we've also still got a strong industrial metal scene. Part of it is that, given our different musical history in this hemisphere and the split that started with the end of thrash metal that healed with UA-cam rejoining us to Europe, our strong rhythmic history became prevalent. And if you're not into metal based on groove and rhythm, I'm sure the greater part of a decade and a half of American metal is probably just useless space.
+Punk Walid Uh... You never heard of Metallica, Megadeth, Exodus, Slayer, Overkill, Savatage etc...How "British" are *they" and what difference does it make? It's all HEAVY METAL which is universal.
Shit's so good I'm watching it again. I noticed It has to be hard to have air at all times and properly use it, Stu looks beat at the end of this song.
there they are. nice. Seen them 5 times in Denver. let's do this , he says to his bass. Rock on. louder! niceoh shit a fucking phone audio, kidding? they shook the whole damn building at the Ogden. For some reason, every time John just stares blindly at me and my men, before he becomes a demon. BTW, this guy was great vocals.
I love Iced Earth, and Stu is a cool guy, but his live performance is a bit lacking. It seems he has more trouble with the lows. Kick ass either way, but I miss Matt's lows and hearing Stu on the albums made me think he was a good fit for a replacement. Oh well, it is what it is, Iced Earth still kicks ass!
People like to bag on Stu, but if you think actually listen to him, you can hear how he manages to bridge the gap between Barlow and Ripper vocally. Not saying he's better than Matt or Ripper, but he's not as bad as most believe.
For my part i never thought that way... sure he is a versatile singer but i think Stu make Iced Earth sound like it should sound like anyway so for my part, no complaint at all.
Great band ...sorely missed..😢😢
Such an under rated band. They have some of the sickest instrumentals
Jake Edwards i
Why to dislike this video.. I was there in front-line and it was one of the most awesome live bands i heard live!!!
The ones that are forced (caused by weak caracter and education) by social media-ads,.... dictated how to BE cool and hip so they only brainwashed to love SHIT!!music !!! , and are deaf to real emotional - educated - interesting composed and story telling music.
Stu is awesome with his perfect heavy voice \m/ Iced earth are always perfect !
Barlow is the man, no doubt, but Stu is an excellent vocalist. I saw Iced Earth just three days ago in Copenhagen. They played well and Stu's vocals were amazing! Cant wait till the new album comes out, they played a couple of songs from it, and it sounds like they are really taking advantage of Stu's potential, the song "If I Could See You" is one of the best songs they have ever made 🙌
No, they are not. Barlow is not able to do what Stu was doing with Into Eternity.
Stu's more versatile. He can dive low into Barlow's main register while being able to pull of the higher stuff that is Ripper's signature. Very few vocalists have that kind of range.
The new album is dreadful. Dystopia is amazing. Stu isn't Barlow but he like ripper is another element in this bands incredible arsenal of music.

Dystopia is trully one of my favorite albums of Iced Earth. The songs just give a chill in the spine.
This is some great live footage of a brutal song! Love it!!!!
In my top 3 bands. Absolutely love them.
John schaffers right hand is a machine.
Amd not to mention John bring a true American patriot helps
I would say, this is power-thrash-metal xD Hail Iced Earth, my fave band! \m/
It’s just power metal, just way heavier and darker than most power metal
@@guitarchugs9191 Its more like Symphonic-HardRock-Power-Trash-speed-Heavy-Metal i can not describe it otherwise LOL
Because it really is Power Thrash
Stu sounds FUCKING GOOD.
Kinda ridiculous tbh
Stu Block is the best thing to happen to Iced Earth in years!!! Unbelievable vocals!! The whole band sounds awesome! PERFECTION!!
Ripper Owens was the best Iced Earth Vocalist of all time. This new guy isn't bad though.
ICED EARTH FOR EVER!
Ladies and gentlemen....this is METAL.
I can't wait to see I.E again . METAL LIVES!!
Came from the future to say we won't.. Fuck, Jon... :(
@@erlikquadros5873 we will but in 2025
That is one truly awesome video. There something about the drums here, thanks Mr. Smedley.
Stu is a great vocaler! I'm crazy of his albums of Into Eternity. I woud like to hear my favourite IE's song "The Reckoning" in his performance
BRAVO STELLA!!!! Your answer was IN YOUR FACE!!!!!! Very stylish reply.
Stu!!!!!!!!!! one hell of a Canadian singer! sounds perfect with iced earth, much better than with into eternity!
Man, I would love to see Iced Earth sometime. It really looks like they put on a great show.
Concert season. nice, winter sucked the tan and ready to burn, right out of my lonely soul again.
The Scattering of Ashes is one of my favourite metal albums just because of Stu's vocals. I loved his work in Dystopia, but I agree that it didn't express his full range.
That voice ...So sweet! Who could dislike this!? :D
ICED EARTH + CYPRUS = MOST EPIC NIGHT EVER !!!!!!
That it was bro, both times they cm 2 Cyprus 1st at Pavilion Hall & 2nd at Ancient Kourio were both pure Metal perfection🇨🇾💯 Makari na na mas xanartoun k twra p efie o Stu Makari na xanagyrisei o Matt tha ne epos metal 🎸

até ao vivo eles são foda.
Iced Earth=Gods of power/thrash metal.

I would love to hear Stu's growls on Iced Earth. His voice is amazing but I feel like he's trying to sound too much like Barlow.
awesome band seen em live twice always an awesome sight!!!
It's fair tho, we all stare at John. TY Denver! one day we will open for them.
If you want to see (and hear) Matt, he is in videos from Alive in Athens. ;-)
Stu Block ....one of the gratest singer !!
I don't know why, but Stu need to do a duet with Floor Jansen for this song, imagine that repeating phrase them both together, would sound soo good.
I WAS FUCKING THERE! XD IT WAS FREAKING FUCKIN AWESOME!
Love the band and glad to see they put out a live dvd with stu....why are they all wearing denim vests??
No one can doubt Stu's capability and awesomeness after That wicked transition 3:14

Dan.. propably the production will be different...
i's not complete I suppose for the same reason they didn' tupload the 720 or 1080p quality. the Blue ray dvd with 5.1 will be different.

I do like Barlow but the hell... Iced Earth is still Iced Earth once again ! ! !
Oh I thought you were commenting on playability. Yeah, you're right, the mix is a bit dry...crowd was pretty loud and should have definitely been included. Fuck that there should be more than that many views. This band kicks their ass and they are barely recognized.
Ohhh yeah! \m/
lml genial
WOW this guy really knows how to sing!!!
just perferct!
I have heard them live in Belgium and stu block sounded way better then, especially when he screams with his super high voice. Someone knows how it comes? Was he in a bad day or did something went wrong with the recording?
that was also my question. and i was there!!!
on the other hand the 5.1 version of the DVD should sound differently.. I bet this is just a sample. that's why it's not even 720 or 1080p. i'm expecting the DVD to be better.
ICED EARTH!!!!!!!
Why there isn't many Great American metal bands such as Iced Earth? Cause, Most of the Greatest Metal bands are either British, or Scandinavian...

my friend you don't know how to look for the good ones

I believe that Stu is the best choice for iced earth..He sounds like a new Matt Barlow !
You only pull up the audience mics faders when you actually want to hear them.
because its badass :P
I love Iced Earth, and Stu is a cool guy, but his live performance is a bit lacking. It seems he has more trouble with the lows.
Kick ass either way, but I miss Matt's lows and hearing Stu on the albums made me think he was a good fit for a replacement.
Oh well, it is what it is, Iced Earth still kicks ass!
This is at syprus I think
I assume they somehow want you to buy the DVD ;)
I fucking love this!
People like to bag on Stu, but if you think actually listen to him, you can hear how he manages to bridge the gap between Barlow and Ripper vocally. Not saying he's better than Matt or Ripper, but he's not as bad as most believe.
Look fellas, Boromir's singing for a metal band!
Better question...why wouldn't they all be wearing denim vests?
fucken glorious.
THAT FUCKING SCREAM!!!! 3:14 Stu rules!!!!
Cyprus CROWD!!
For my part i never thought that way... sure he is a versatile singer but i think Stu make Iced Earth sound like it should sound like anyway so for my part, no complaint at all.
