I am Filipino, I am from Pangasinan and currently residing in Vancouver BC Canada. This particular video has made me so homesick because this food is my favourite of all seafood. Fun Emmy fact coming up! A lot of people notice the face she made during the tasting looking as if it wasnt as pleasant as she described, right? Well, in one of her videos (a hard times meal video i believe thats about feeding a numerous ammount of people woth ramen noodles!) she actually says that she is not a big fan of saltiness! :) dor example she would only use a half packet of ramen noodle flavoring in her noodles due to the saltiness of it. :D so while it's not necessarily that it tastes BAD, it just isnt a personal fan favorite taste to have basically a ton of salt in her mouth! :3 i love that even though that isn't her favorite thing, she still makes this out to be such a delightful treat!

Yeah, people like giving things unrelated names, for some reason. They fit but are usually very deceptive. Take sweet potatoes, for example; they're called potatoes because they look like them but, as you may or may not know, they're actually squash.
Kind of annoying, if you ask me.

Actually, they're often mislablled as 'yam' in North America, but they are in fact a tuber. Nutritionally different (and indeed better) than regular white potatoes but still potatoes. Yam is a white woody root- the name alone is what's been misapplied.

I made sticky rice, soft poached eggs, chopped sautéed bacon fried medium crispy (gave the dogs the excess bacon fat, to go with their poached eggs) used a little fat added ponzu, Tamari, sriracha and duck sauce, layered onto a bowl and put yhe seaweed on top. This might be new favorite way to eat poached eggs. Thanks for the inspiration.

Like she only uses half a packet of flavoring on her ramen noodles because she thinks its too salty. :) so while she thinks that the salt flavor is pleasant, ita not something she exactly loves in term of what she'd consider making a normal part of her diet, ya know? :3
