I used to buy 5 kilos each time and keep 3 kilos all to myself. Yes ar-arrosep is what we call it in Ilocano. Don't know if that's the right spelling by the way.
Fun Emmy fact coming up! A lot of people notice the face she made during the tasting looking as if it wasnt as pleasant as she described, right? Well, in one of her videos (a hard times meal video i believe thats about feeding a numerous ammount of people woth ramen noodles!) she actually says that she is not a big fan of saltiness! :) dor example she would only use a half packet of ramen noodle flavoring in her noodles due to the saltiness of it. :D so while it's not necessarily that it tastes BAD, it just isnt a personal fan favorite taste to have basically a ton of salt in her mouth! :3 i love that even though that isn't her favorite thing, she still makes this out to be such a delightful treat!
I absolutely love love love how respectful you are toward different cuisines and cultural food. Other people do taste tests make fun and disrespect these foods. You do things honorably. I love it ♥️😭
Yeah, people like giving things unrelated names, for some reason. They fit but are usually very deceptive. Take sweet potatoes, for example; they're called potatoes because they look like them but, as you may or may not know, they're actually squash. Kind of annoying, if you ask me.
Actually, they're often mislablled as 'yam' in North America, but they are in fact a tuber. Nutritionally different (and indeed better) than regular white potatoes but still potatoes. Yam is a white woody root- the name alone is what's been misapplied.
I live close to the Indian ocean and every time I go for a swim I see these guys in the water and never for one moment did I think they could be edible!

I have been watching your videos for years!!! You are definitely my favorite UA-camr. Also, I just bought sea grapes at my local international market! I’m soooo excited to try them at lunch!
Mealbelly.com is out of service 😂

I had to go check too. 😂😂😂
Just to clarify, these aren’t sea grapes. It’s just seaweed. There is an actual fruit called sea grapes that grows along the coast in the Caribbean.
Thank you. At a store giving out samples, a little girl got so excited when she received seaweed sample. I had to try it OMG my sister laughed when she saw the look on my face she handed me a paper towel. I did not care for it at all. To each his or her own! Love this channel!
Just tried these myself her descriptions are spot on!!
I feel as though this was suggested to me by my animal crossing addiction 😂
