When you play as a country in the pacific, it’s better to just straight go for New Zealand as you can get australia by 2024 instead of starting to get New Zealand by 2024

I just did the same thing and trust me. IT'S PAINFUL, and the server I was in had saudia which was forming the Islamic caliphate and gave me a real hard time trying to compete with him, after I took new Zealand in the begin, I took australia in 2024 and in about 2027 I took Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Sri Lanka from there I prepared my invasion of china due to unrest in new lands my manpower situation was still bad and I didn't have much tank spam so I sent only about 8k tanks to attack china, 2k mountain spec in the south and 6.8k non-spec tanks in the north to take out all his infantry in Beijing,. I decided to land in the small peninsula so I get the advantage of him being in water but his 2million troops were split and only 500 of my tanks survived I let them entrench and after they fully entrenched there max number was only 3k now, I still split them and had success china started to collapse and I started taking the releasables lands, but not tibet or sinkaing/east turkestan now, I also didn't take southern fujian/hok-going now. I finally passed saudia arabia and after the unrest was gone in China he formed Islamic caliphate but I passed him by alot then I allowed some policies to increase tax and i was finally well-ahead of everyone else. I left in 2037 which is the year where I got really high in rankings.
