Line Tower Wars #4 - Marble Game

- In line tower wars, each player sends attackers to the next player on their right, while defending against attackers sent by the player to their left.
When attackers reach the base, they remove lives, and if no more lives are left, the player is defeated.
Towers and attackers are built by marble selection.
Gold is harvested by a marble.
A final marble determines when the attackers are sent to the next player.
Changes in this version:
- Slight changes to map
- Upgrade purchases added (attacker hit points, tower damage, tower attack speed)
- Additional lives can now be purchased
- Gold income mechanic changed. Instead of gold coins being spawned, any miner that reaches the bottom of the gold mine will get X amount of gold, where X is the current gold amount level.
Colours:
Blue, Purple, Cyan and Magenta

0:32 cyan lost 7 coins because he tried to spawn 2 blasters in the same field, resulting in the second one not spawning.

Cyan was ok at the beginning, but got lost because of poor economy...
Also magenta got the most of the bonus and the best economy
The economy was a big problem in this game, so I came up with the following ideas: make the coins spawn over time (same as in previous games, with upgrade that increases the spawn rate and all the rest), make it have a small chance of creating a coin more valuable than the others, add an upgrade that increases the chance of creating a more valuable coin and make an early stage where there are only economic upgrades.

@@lostmarbles2d I had an idea. What if the launch pad thing was two sided to go to either the tower to your left or right? That could be kinda interesting
Maybe you should try adding a preparation phase where the marbles have a 1 min grace period to get eco up and towers down, so you can avoid early game damage. Also, marbles cannot generate attacking marbles during the grace period, but can place down attacking buildings.
Like the upgrades, just need to make them last longer
Just a heads up, at 7:00 magenta (far right) got the tower attack speed upgrade but the amount spent wasn’t added to their total NW or any of the categories. Might just be a bug.
Magenta really had a rough start but they won in the end

I disagree with making the marbles curve around the track switchbacks, this in particular made bouncy marbles even more agile than they already were making them quite overpowered, even against towers that would normally counter them.
I'm personally okay with maybe a little bit of curving(as long as it's not too jerky, extreme, and sudden), but the extremely fast bounciness of the marbles definitely needs to either be fixed or gutted entirely. But I also think the "buy life bar" was a clever touch. Maybe a better balance would be a nice touch up.

More please, but ditch the 'extreme bouncy'; as well as curve around the track switchback nature of the marbles.
Am I mislooking or did you also change the Shotgun sprite?
