its really nice to see someone talking about my special interest anime
No blood, no bone, no ash.
Damn, I remember watching this in middle school, good memories. Red King still leaves an impression :)
I think the colorless king's ability that he uses in the red king/blue king fight is nullifying other Kings' abilities, hence his colorless nature and why the Gold King chose to send him to stop the fight. Based on that he could be ranked anywhere.
Came here to say this exact thing
Yep, and the fact that both clansmen he have are incredibly powerful, even without their king after he died (in case of Kuroh), it seems the key ability of the Colorless king is to develop skills based on his personality, and actuall capabilities, as if this sanctum will always develop new skills that are meant to mess with other kings. Miwa could literally undo sanctums, that's a pretty useful skill, but he also landed on the top of his sword effortlessly and was incredibly capable.
SO happy to see some K content!! Thank you for this video! 🙏
its nice to see some about k, I loved it for some reason back when I first saw it, thx for making this vid
About Iwa (as someone who was very much so hyperfixated on this series for the longest time) his main thing was that he absolutely hates fighting and getting involved in that way. His clan was known as CATHEDRAL and their main goal was to bring peace between the clans similar to how Ichigen brought peace between the kings. Iwa would only ever use violence as a last resort so seeing him in action was so nice and I'm honestly not surprised he was able to help Nagare with Munakata
In the anime they state that he was only there just in case Nagare couldn't do it all on his own and the reveal that he was the grey king in general had me on the edge of my seat I love him so very much and I do encourage anyone interested in this anime to look into the characters in this way because ALL of them have backstories and details you wouldn't even think about (Even the side characters and clansmen)
Shows like this are the reason I have such high expectations for character backstories and development fr
I don't agree with everything in the video but still enjoyed watching something related to K one of the most underrated shows out there. great work. love it.
Yeah all the kings are supposed to be equal in power.
@@DromusTH but dont they say that green & golden kings are the strongest ones?
Always thought the characters meant the Silver King is equal to the Gold King before the events of the Anime. Ie when he still has his true body.
Thank you for talking about k
ALL THOSE MOVIES AND ITS STILL NOT ENOUGH
Man I didn’t know they are so many movies, I have just seen S1 and 2 and one of the movie.
Definitely one of the most memorable anime ever, the visuals, the vibe, music, they are all unique
Great video. I think/understand it, that while battle power of each king depends on what kind of person they are etc., there is clear system of color and numbers between kings generally. Lower number, greater raw power. So silver king, number 1, has most energy of them all and colorless king has least of it. BUT that isn't all. Higher number, greater focus of power/abilities/specialities etc. I'm not sure how to call it, maybe techniques. We don't really have big enough sample to say it for sure and individual character of each king plays big role in their battle power, but it is clear, that Silver king has great power, but has problems with using it in battle. Maybe if he trained and found way to utilize his power, them he would be stronger. But he was scientist and in depression. But Anna was just crowned, but still shown better control and abilities that him. All his power was basically invested into basic skills like body strengthening. Because of nature or pure quantity of his energy, he is immortal (in the end, change in quantity leads to change in quality). Golden king them has second biggest 'energy pool' but better utilization of energy that silver king and is known as strongest (he was also soldier and did train his abilities for quite some time, so it makes sense. Again, it depends on personality. If he was prideful egocentric, he could be weaker etc.) 3. And 4. Are more in middle and their fights, it was clear that while red has more destructive power, Blue has better skills and were pretty equal. Creativity of green king powers is clear. He was able to use it through app! And transformed his own weakness into source of strength, that make him equal to golden king. Grey has his absolute defense like power, which could hold agains three kings at same time and was creative enough to change it into actual bullets. Colorless kings abilities are clearly broken. Ability to see future and steal bodies are totally op. CK did target silver king in first season, which was mistak, because he didn't understand, how exactly kings powers work and make mistake. But he was still able to use his ability on first king and steal his body. Would any other king survive it? Again, result would depends on their characters and how their use their powers.
only 3 comments get these numbers up
Feels good to know others have watched k thought it was just me who remembers
Ichigen is actually pretty powerful. It seems his power is more about erasure of other kings powers and peace-maker. He doesn't just surprise the red king, he undoes his sanctum and pacifies him, the king that is known to have the shortest of fuses. We see little of him, but both of his clansmans have incredible power too, Yukari is actually so strong he becomes number 2 of the green clan while Kuroh is so strong he's on pair to the number 2 of both Blue and Red clans, and he doesn't have a king anymore, meaning he may have part of the colorless clan power in him but without a king, he cant access the full extent of it. IT seems the colorless sanctum actually gives random abilities to it's clansman, since there's no element assigned to it.
The Silver King is interesting because essentially he gave up on being a king, and just kept living in stagnancy forever after his sister loss. He blames himself, so he punishes himself by living his eternal life a thing he believes he only got it in exchange for his sister's death contemplating an endless view of sun-rising and setting. But he's the oldest after the golden king and if he ever had trained his body and mind who knows if the Sanctum would give him more. Considering Kuroh got faster and stronger with the silver sanctum, which gives him control over gravity, if shiro ever used his powers and learned how to control them to the extent the Green king did, maybe they would be evenly matched. The fact that the gold King does consider himself to be on even footing to Shiro tells something, but then again, the Gold King is a veteran from the Japanese army, out of all of the kings, he's the only one who was trained in the art of combat, so maybe this reflected on his own sanctum. And I think this also reflects on the Collorless King too, Ichigen was a master of the sword, he had enough power to control his sanctum to an extent other kings would not expect.
In the end, Shiro could be put on D rank even, since he's just being lazy for almost a century. xD
K, Missing Kings, Return of Kings & 7 Stories are ALL GREAT. Omg what an anime. Also can’t forget my baby Seri Awashima 😍😍
I think that Red King (Suoh Mikoto) is stronger than Green King (Hisui Nagare) even though they have never matched each other officially in the TVA.
i love this anime and i'm glad to see it being talked about sdkjfherg
I used to love this anime when I was a kid lmao I’m a lot older now
Great breakdown!! I own this whole series. It's really awesome!!
I do agree with the listing and reasoning here. I’m a big fan of this series but I also have like a list kinda similar to yours but you aren’t wrong about the D tier, and C tier cause for me I have the gold king and silver king as S tier cause they were the original kings. And there’s also an order of what kings appeared in as well. Like the list is
1. Silver King
2. Gold King
3. Red King
4. Blue King
5. Green King
6. Gray king
7. Colorless king
But my B tier has Munakata and Anna which I do agree with but my A tier has the green king and Mikoto cause Mikoto actually has combat experience that Anna didn’t have and also the green king had to rely on the stales to keep him alive cause without he would die. Also the gray king and green king are father and son, it was said in season 2 Rise of Kings but i don’t remember what episode.
This anime is where i got part of my name from
cool video
i love K-project, i'm write my own king

loved this
The silver king could easily be s tier if he was a fighter.
Munakata: B tier
Tenkei iwafune: Beats Munakata in a 1v1 while protecting someone C tier
Ichigen: stops both Mikoto and Munakata D Tier
what?
ok grandpa i know, i know: back in your time.
speaking of time; it is time to take your pills and while you are at it give me some because that sounds like some of the GOOD Sh*t
-Season 2 Munakata was restrained from controlling the slate.
-Iwa's fog obscures people's vision, making it easier to hit people but Munakata could still deflect his bullets.
-Ichigen breaking up a fight does not mean he could beat them in a fight. Plus, I said he could go higher.
Where can I watch all the movies?
i couldn't find them on crunchyroll so you have to ship the sails for that
