To address the Fairy Law argument: It clearly takes Laxus time to charge it. Zero isn’t going to sit and wait for him to do that. Also to address Laxus being fatigued against Natsu: FT characters can recover quickly due to passively absorbing ethernanos in the air. We also know Laxus is crazy durable. He’s able to take bane particles in his body and still can fight Spirggans and also during the Hades fight, he’s able to take an Amaterasu from Hades with no magic and still got back up. Laxus only panting after using Fairy Law is nothing compared to those two instances, the fatigue in the Natsu fight was barely noticeable.
There’s 2 things you fg about 1. Natsu only been Laxus bc laxus used up all his energy tiding fairy law in which didn’t work bc he simply didn’t view ab in the guild as a true enemy and 2 Laxus could use fairy law on zero and laxus is also stronger then the master so idk wym
@@gayehorn-Didn’t Hades compare Laxus and Gildarts? A bit more detailed explanation, hades made a statement along the lines of” I didn’t know Markorav had someone else in the level of Gildarts.
Laxus would honestly sweep them all at once tenrou island time skip. Just going by scaling, he is faster than all of them and would just electric them into submission
Great video, Laxus is a monster. I also find it funny that people still discredit Jellal for his fight against the seis when he didn’t use magic for the first half of the fight, like you said the moment he goes on the offensive he blitzes all of them
@MIchael-yd8ns pretty sure that's exactly how it works none of them are his allies nor are they close to his power levels they dying to one of the ultimate spells in fairy tail
Didn’t Hades compare Laxus to Gildarts when Laxus came to Tenro Island? Now I may not be the brightest crayon in the box but it wouldn’t possibly make sense for Laxus to have such a considerable jump in power in only a short time period. I can’t remember the time line very with but wasn’t the s rank promotions done after 2-3 arcs after the Oracion Seis arc. Yet again i aight the brightest here but Laxus being weaker than Makorav yet I’m only a few arcr(3-4) since his banishment, he is being placed in the same general power rank as Gildarts someone who is most definitely stronger than Makorav. This also was a statement made by Fairy Tails second guild master. Also your using the Laxus fight extremely weird. Laxus isn’t at his strongest even by the time he enters his first fight with mystogen. His technique the thunder palace was stated to have a large amount of laxus’s magic power even in only a single lacrama. Then he proceeded to easily fight Mystogen and Erza. Then he easily beats down on Natsu and Gajeel. Finally when Laxus does cast Fairy Law, it did take a good chunk out of his Magic reserves. Laxus did not make a mistake in casting the technique. The technique was used and the cost of mana was taken to use said spell. Then Laxus proceeded to still beat the absolute crap out of Gajeel and Natsu. Up until Natsu his a new burst in power. And the reason Natsu says he’ll beat Laxus in a 1v1, is because a long majority of it was Laxus fighting other people and even a majority of his fight with Laxus, Natsu was teamed up with Gajeel. Plus in the aftermath, Gajeel, Natsu,Gray, and I believe a few others even discussed how they wouldn’t call what natsu did as a win. Since Gajeel was wrapped up and Natsu was way worse , while Laxus was just barely injured. There were even multiple comments that Natsu had gotten lucky.
it's worth noting that Hades has an inaccurate assessment of gildarts' power level, he believed Blue Note was as strong as Gildarts which as we saw was very far from the truth given he was able to beat him even with the Tenrou tree debuff happening. So when Hades says he didnt know "Makarov had another pawn of Gildarts' caliber" it means Laxus is as strong as he had thought Gildarts was not that he is as strong as Gildarts is
@@Lauren_Overwat But the battle between Blue Note and Gildarts wasn’t that big of a difference though. Hell Natsu also compared blue note to Gildarts. Hell Gildarts was exhausted after his fight with blue note. Using blue note as an example isn’t doing you any favors dog.
@@bubblegumwarrior6731 I kind of disagree for the reason I stated earlier, Gildarts is really heavily debuffed when the tenrou tree falls, before that point as well it really doesn’t look like he’s taking it that seriously. He’s only exhausted at the end due to the tree falling and what that did to his battle
@@Lauren_Overwat While I do agree that Gildarts isn’t at his best the tree falling doesn’t just out right weakens you like reducing magic capabilities and or physical abilities. All it did was make it to were the fairy tail guild members weren’t having their magic reserves replenished. Plus name one fight Gildarts was in prior to Blue Note. The answer is zero, so the rebuff of the tree doesn’t even relate to Gildarts.
@@bubblegumwarrior6731 well I mean if we’re being pedantic he had fought natsu (but this obviously wasn’t a real fight), while I take your point it does seem to imply a sort of weakening effect from the tree falling, everybody (bar Erza) quite literally drops to the floor. When the tree guy (totally forgot his name) felled the tree he didn’t just cancel the replenishing effect he quite literally took the magic power from the others, this is evident from the fact he says to Erza that he is letting her keep hers so they can have a fight. Gildarts isn’t just not having his magic replenished in the blue note fight, he literally has had his magic taken from him.

If Laxus vs Erik did not include a 'Lightning is faster than sound' joke, I would hate it.
Really liked hearing this what if! Always a joy to hear more Laxus content!
Very good video not many good fairy tail power scalers out there would love to see more fairy tail videos in the future
there something about pre timeskip that makes the fights so fun
Yo this is a actually a really well made video. Definitely looking forward to seeing more. Immediately subscribed👌

Not only was his magic low because of fairy law he also used the thunder palace spell as well he wasn't at full power at all
@DarthWudan see u get it bc I be tired of trying to explain it to folks 😭
I like this analysis of the video and I am looking forward for the Fairy Tail 100 years stuff

This was a very enjoyable video, it really scratched my itch for FT content. Also Team Bickslow, he was my favorite member as a kid and still is.

Laxus killing em with thunder palace or fairy law

U downplay bickslow. He didn't even use his eye magic against gray. If he did, he easily wins.
Long story short they get beaten worse than the og way they were beaten
