"How is it not illegal " , because in the separate individual countries Scotland northern Ireland Wales and England, as much as America self proclaims, this is what we call the literal meaning of free speech
I'm married to an american. Kids are technically dual citizens of the us and Ireland. I hated every minute i lived there happy to be home and we are moving to Liverpool after xmas best decision i ever made. The banter in ireland and the UK is like no where else. I'll be one of the few Irish rooting for England with the world Cup. Bring it home 🏴

Name check:
Eric Cantona - Manchester United legend, absolute maverick with a football at his feet. Played for the club through the 1990's and almost singlehandedly turned the club at that time from strong title challengers to the most dominant team in the country. His name is still sang by United fans at every game today. So many UA-cam videos of him for you to watch fella.
Georgie Best - Another football genius from the 1960s/70s. Regarded by many as the best player they have ever seen, his career was cut short due to problems with alcohol which later contributed to his death. Dubbed 'El Beatle' by the Spanish press he was the first footballer ever to achieve rock star like adulation.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - JT, I'm like 90% sure you've reacted to him before honestly. Big tall beast if a center forward with a pony tail/man bun...
Adam Johnson - former Sunderland and Manchester City winger who was caught enticing young girl fans 15 and younger into sexual relationships. Jailed for 6 years in 2016.
Andy Carroll - absolute doggy poop player over rated by Liverpool who spent a then record fee to bring him to their club where he flopped.
But never caught for the french team ye class
@@gerardharris4217 not quite sure what you mean to be honest...
Zlatan is hated in Malmö now since he thanked us for making him great by purchasing shares in one of our main rivals from Stockholm, Hammarby/Bajen.
And now Bajen fans want the club to buy him out because they don't want him.
Here in Sweden the members own 51% of the club so members can vote down the board.

I’m American and after I graduated high school in 2005 I went over to England and saw my favorite team, Manchester United against Man City. It was insane. Someone in our section snuck in a City jersey and the fans got him kicked out as if you’re an actual fan you have to buy tickets in the away area. The away area was just below us and it was guarded by a literal line of guys in yellow jackets. It was so loud and so awesome!
I now live in New Zealand, when I had a season ticket, there was two guy’s in front of me from Northern Ireland, and they were there for the midweek matches too 99% of the time and they had to fly to Liverpool (because it was cheaper than to fly to Manchester) then they had to get a bus 40 miles to Manchester City centre, then get the Metro to the ground, sometimes they’d miss 30 minutes of the first half if they were delayed.
Now that’s dedication!
They couldn't miss 30 minutes of first half anymore. They dont let you in if you're late by 20 mins now 🤔
I'm from the "occupied six counties" (a Give My Head Peace joke/quote) as well, and when I went over we took the boat to Liverpool and then got the bus to Manchester. That match was against Fulham in the 06/07 season where they won 5-1, and eventually won the league at the end of the season. I would go through that horrible city (Liverpool) again in a heartbeat if it meant Old Trafford was my destination.
@@TheGrimmCommoner Lol 😂
@@TheGrimmCommoner I was in the Stretford End at that match.
@@MjII7 Cool. I was a few seats away from the corner flag up near the Stretford End.
It’s missing our greatest chant of all time the Park ji-sung one…but yeah a quality compilation none the less. I had a season ticket for 14 years and it’s great fun learning all the lyrics. Sadly they closed that pub down (Sam platts) in the Cantona song with the massive tent outside and that’s when I stopped going to games, used to turn up 3 hours before a game going mental in there…good times.
I agree where was the Park chant
Do you mean the dogs one? Ji-sung hates it.

Man Utd and Liverpool will always be biggest rivals. 2 biggest clubs of England. The rivalry between the cities that dates back to the mersey/manchester canal. But if you're a Utd fan from Manchester then City will always be right up there cos you'll go to work with them etc.
“I can’t tell whether they’re making fun of Cantona or whether they really like him”
This made be chuckle. Cantona is a legend for United and for me personally, as a United fan, he’s my all time favourite player. Check out a video of his highlights and you’ll see why.

I used to watch the games when he was in the line up.
His winning goal in a cup match was the greatest I ever saw.
My favourite player ever other than Peter schmeichel the best goalie ever imo
Cantona legend , even when he was at leeds !! 😁
When I first moved to England in 2004, I had a job in a hotel just on the other side of the Manchester Ship Canal from Old Trafford stadium, about 5 minutes walk away across the bridge. Every Man United home match day the hotel would be full of regulars from literally all over the world. Asia, Africa, North and South America, they would came to the UK multiple times a year to support Mancheter United. The whole district was heaving on match days. For a couple of hours before a match you couldn't even get near a bar within a couple of miles of Old Trafford and for a couple of hours after a match there was no point in trying to travel as the roads and tramlines were solidly blocked with traffic.
Yeah a tourist attraction the disneyworld of England the locals wouldn`t be seen dead at the swamp in Salford unless the Manchester club was there of course.
It's not true, but man city are seen as the Manchester club and united are seen as a more global club...
@@leeshaw7523 Probably because the rags haven`t played in the city since 1910.
Complete bullshit, as a born and bred Mancunian and 61 years old I can tell you United are loved and supported by Mancunians as well as by people from all over the world. It's the biggest myth in football that United are not supported by Manchester people.
@@niallmurray8654 Going to the souvenir shop doesn`t count I`m afraid you actually have to set foot in the ground during a game. As a 62 years old standing in the stretford end over the years when unable to get a ticket for the away end the only local accents we heard were other City fans. Surrounded by irish, welsh, cockneys, brummies, cumbrians etc felt like a visit to the circus. Accompanyed now by thousands of asians with their half n half scarves and bags full of souvenirs a la anfield is a sight to behold. Neither does local pubs chock full of the armchair brigade count as local support. Any clown can sit in a pub and claim to be a fan even though they couldn`t find Salford on a map.
the best part of being an United fan is that we have chants in every situation
doesn't matter how we're playing
Eric Cantona is the player most credited with United becoming champions for the first time in over 20 years. We still call him King Eric. His retirement came as a shock and he became an actor.
Football in this country has a number of huge rivalries. Liverpool v Man United is still regarded as probably the biggest game in the world because they're the two best supported teams in the world (even more so than Real Madrid or Barcelona). United v City is United's other big rivalry, even more so now that City have managed to become the best team in the country. But there are others, such as Newcastle v Sunderland (which won't be happening again for a while), Swansea v Cardiff, Arsenal v Spurs.
`Well United has the most fans, I don't know about supporters.
I’m British and I have to say, your reactions are absolutely hilarious 😂.Love your videos
Aw yes...A beautiful example of how the power of man, when co-existing in their natural habitat, can influence and inspire so many around them. Uniting as one, creatively working together in harmony and with perfect order. It brings a tear to my eye...I'm so proud! 🤣😂🤣
Football chants in the UK are ruthless, no low is too low but then again there's positive chants as well soooo it's swings and roundabouts really.
The best is when the players they roast respond to them, they laugh it off and rant he's a good lad😂
Eric Cantona is known as the King of Old Trafford!
United fans love him! Always will!❤️
Eric Cantona is the King and we love him like no other!
Manchester and Liverpool are two large cities close to each other we have a long rivalry and we love it. They sing about The Munich air disaster and we sing about them all being bin dippers,
Eric Cantona is a United legend to us. We will be still singing his name in 50 years from now
I have been fortunate to sit in the stands at United’s ground at a game against Manchester City, also known as the Manchester Derby, (pronounced DARBY), and join in the singing of the “Knick Knack paddy whack” song. It is a memorable experience.
Uniteds chants are always inventive, Zlatans song is my favourite of all time tbh!
Hi JT. That chant about the adam johnson party was also similar to the one you mentioned. The quote “bring your homework and your smarties” shows exactly what they are referring to.

Obviously football violence has died out since like when it was a thing but if you haven’t seen “Green Street” (the first movie not any of the others), it will kinda explain some aspects of how deeply football impacts/impacted British society n be an interesting watch
My son used to sing these chants when he was young...6+, but I've never told him off for them but he was put to bed for swearing when talking and didn't do it again in front of me till he was 27 end even then it was under extreme circumstances.
As soon as he knew what football was Man Utd was the only team for him which was interesting when he got step siblings, one of whom was a Liverpool fan.
I'm a Liverpool fan. I know it's always Man vs Liv, but Celtic vs Rangers would have to be one of the most intense rivalries HAHAHA Love your videos!!

Very good watching you react to this😂😂I’m a Man Utd fan and some of our chants are brutal, those are not even the worst!😂that was nemanja vidic on the pitch, his final match for the club, absolute legend and hard man👌🏽cantona’s chant will be forever sang at old Trafford, arguably one of Utds best ever players. Adam Johnson gets abuse at all clubs, what a waste of talent! (See Mason Greenwood for another gifted young player lost due to disgraceful behaviour) Man city are not really utd’s biggest rival that is more liverpool but city are becoming more so as they are in full control of Manchester at the moment, will always be big rivalry between two clubs in the same city. Great vid🤣👌🏽🤘🏽
Man untied and Man City are pretty big rivals is the biggest understatement ever, if your stadium is anywhere near another teams stadium, in football there is a big rivalry, like Tottenham and arsenal
I respect him so much for calling it football
the rivalry between certain teams is actually like a religion here in England.
I think this rivalry has the hate of 1980's Lakers Celtics
the fact that he is talking about football and he doesn't know Zlatan despite him playing in the MLS is hilarious!
Di Maria won’t be winning trophies anymore. I discovered this tonight as he won the World Cup 😂
Adam Johnson played for Man City and went to jail hence the chant. Eric Cantona is one of Man United's greatest ever players so it's sung with affection.
Anderson, Jaap Stan, a drink, a drink to Eric the King, keano wears the magic hat... so many more great chants.😊
We would never make fun of Cantona, fucking legend!
Love them or hate them but Manchester United have the best away supporters and best chants in the country by far 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The fact you call it football. Respect 😊
8:43 eric Cantona is a man utd legend
All teams have fierce rivals, I'm Spurs and it's Arsenal, getting older so my hatred has lessoned but that could change. To be honest, Man it's hate Liverpool and visa versa, it's endless. Portsmouth and Southampton etc but I think at the end of the day I think most people will agree there is no greater rivalry than Celtic and Rangers. There is no middle ground there. Luv, Stay Safe. Live Yer. 💪♥️
Freedom of speech we have in the UK 👍😂

Eric Cantona is a good one to look into on his own. From 2nd biggest bad boy in football to producer, director and star of multi award winning art films of dubious sanity.
George Best was my hero when I was a 7,8 9,10,11 year old living in Manchester. Got his autograph in his cafe/bar. You should look at some of his great plays on the internet. He drank himself to death after having a liver transplant, hence the song parody about going on the piss ( boozing) with Georgie Best. Now I live in California I can only watch United on the tv.:( But my Dad still has season tix to Old Trafford and has been going to matches since 1951.
Been watching United since 1963, been there and done it, there are some songs that wouldn't be allowed on UA-cam, thanks for posting these
Nick nack paddywag is song multiple times at EVERY game! First chant I ever remembered besides Glory Glory!
You don't learn who Zlatan is, Zlatan learns who you are

Cantona’s a United GOD! Be good if you did a reaction to his goals. Trust me it won’t disappoint 👌❤️
And Manchester United and manches city are definitely big rivals that’s for sure!!!! A derby and rival every time they play each other!!
Bro it's footy banter.... its supposed to be funny.... it goes back and forward between teams in rivalry games lol
I fucking love it 😂😂😂😂
Manchester United's top 3 rivals are Liverpool, Leeds United and then more recently Manchester City. Arsenal and Chelsea are somewhat rivals as well. There are hard core chants against all rival fan groups though. The best chants are when we sing about our own players though.
I live in Manchester, decide your friend groups before your football team... It's just easier that way lol 😅
And Eric cantona chant is a old one they love Cantona he is a legend at Manchester United in the football world. He is loved by the fans and actually in my opinion Manchester United fans are one of the biggest and most loyal fanbases…

George Best died of alcoholism…. Hence the song about going on the piss with him when they die. (Context)
Yes we do have a big rivalry with Manchester City and also Liverpool and it was missing one of our best in my opinion which is the Park Ji-Sung chant

Great chants. I know every one of them and many more. Best away supporters in the world, bar none!
A little context on the Spirit in the Sky one... This started after the United legend George Best died. He was an famous drinker (alcoholic).

Check out when he flying kicked a mouthy rival fan
Angel Di Maria was signed by United for mega money and then after just one season, he was sold to PSG at a loss because his form had dipped and he wanted out. A year or two later, the two clubs met in the Champions League and he scored against us, making gestures to the fans who'd been booing him the whole game. We then had to play the second leg in Paris and were 2-0 down after the first leg at Old Trafford. We got really lucky just a few minutes from the end and shut up Di Maria by winning 3-1 - the tie as a whole finished 3-3 (add scores from both games) but we went through because we scored more away goals (3 to their 2).
So, no love lost between United fans and Di Maria.
In England alone there are 92 fully professional teams. Though 3 are from Wales as the Welsh league is not big enough to support them.
It is possible to set up a minor league team with over 1000 teams ahead of you and over time reach the very top of English football. Never been done and extrenely unlikely, but possible.
We all have our local rivals and if in the same division, matches between us are called derby matches. They can be violent and small cities like Norwich draft in police from the Met to help police them.
