According to Domazet Lošo (retired admiral), colonel Vagn Ove Moebjerg Nielsen, news sites, official documents and other types of sources, there is no single evidence, report, document or a statement about "The biggest Canadian battle since Korean War" as well as from either of these resources: - UNPROFOR Sector South HQ - UNPROFOR HQ Croatia - CANBAT HQ - CANBAT soldiers statements in September 1993. - CANBAT Commander Jim Calvin statement in September 1993. - FREBAT HQ - UN Military observers - UN Civil police - UN Security Council - Serb HQ, field units or intelligence - Croat HQ, field units or intelligence - Human rights watch and similar organisations - US State department
@@peterkyriopoulos2684 Can you read, I was referring to the alleged 'skirmish' between Croatian and Canadian forces, that was made up by the Canadian side and through time it is being transformed into a 'battle' of some sort. I have turned upside down all available documents and other resources from that time and still found nothing about the 27 Croatian soldiers that Canadians claim perished during the incident. They're lying, pure and simple.
You must be a very important person to have access to unlimited documents from three different militaries as well as the UN. Impressive. I can tell you first hand as a Canadian infantryman "boots on the ground" in September 1993 in the Medak Pocket , there was in fact a series of firefights between us and the Croatian front line platoons. I was also tasked as part of the security for our commanding officer who had to cross no-mans-land at midnight to liaise with the Croat General, who in fact asked why our soldiers were shooting his men. He stated (through an interpreter) that there were 28 dead or wounded Croatian soldiers due to the fighting with the Canadians. But I know the Croats were later adamant they didn't engage UN peacekeepers, admitting it would be politically stupid and nationally embarrassing for the country.
@@R6racer62 Oh, now we are at 28 dead AND wounded already, interesting. So, your main source is an unnamed general who told you that through an interpreter. You know, you don't have to be an important person to gain access to well over a dozen resources written on the subject of this operation, which used declassified military reports as well as captured Serbian documents. The names of people from our side who perished in this battle are publicly known, it is also known that they died in minefields or clashes with the Serbian forces. So stop lying. Your main sources are hearsay. UN is a joke, I'm glad everything ended with a decisive Croatian military victory in 1995, and that your efforts were in vain. I just want you to know what you fought for (at least you claim you did): you fought for an unrecognized separatist entity Republic of Serbian Krajina. That is the same if you go to Ukraine today and fight for the Lugansk People's Republic, and denounce Ukrainians if they try to defend themselves. RSK used Medak to indiscriminately shell civilians in nearby Gospić, what did you do about that? Do you know that official ARSK military doctrine called for shelling of civilians in retaliation for each military setback? What if I fire a 120mm mortar shell into crowded downtown Toronto, and denounce you if you try to stop me? This is why I despise Canada and its people. I pray for Trudeau to govern you weaklings until the day he dies, you don't deserve any better.
@@lovrom7671 you're a class act. I should send you some photos of the tortured and executed civilians your hero soldiers carried out. We were the ones that had to bag them up for the morgue. Subhuman.
Wow! God bless our troops! So very proud of you 👍

Mind numbing
Canada's biggest lie - this battle never happened.
