This depends on how long you immerse your piece of jewelry, the concentration of the sulfur, and the temperature of the mixture. It is a bit of a gamble. You never get the same result; each piece is unique.
We work with silver. When it comes into contact with sulfur, it discolors black. However, this can be easily fixed by lightly sanding it with fine sandpaper, such as a nail buffer. It often happens when you have to take special medications that your body excretes sulfur through sweat, causing your ring or jewelry to slowly discolor. Best regards, your Silberladenteam. 😊
