Join us on this epic 7-day expedition, from the bustling town of Leh to the pristine heights of Dzo Jongo at an awe-inspiring altitude of 21,000 feet. This mountain is close to another famous semi-technical peak Kang Yatse II.
In this riveting adventure, witness the raw beauty of Central Ladakh's landscapes, from the foothills of Tanglang La mountain pass to the chilling windswept peaks that surround us. Before starting the adventure and living in the wilderness in the Hemis region (India's largest national park), the snow leopard country, explore some ancient villages of Lato, Gya and Chogdo. Then the adventure begins with traverse of roaring rivers, form human chains, and brave steep terrains as we make our way to the base of Dzo Jongo.
Day by day, the challenge intensifies - crossing high mountain passes like Shiul Pass at 5100m, Chak Pass at 5400m & Kongmaru Pass at 5350 metres each step bringing us closer to the towering Dzo Jongo summit. Thanks, yes you would have snow on the mountain in May; snowfall is unpredictable. Cost from Leh to Leh was around 35k.
