I got a copyright notice when I uploaded this. Fortunately it wasn't so severe and my revenue is shared with the original artist since this is a cover. Not all of them are so kind though. You should be fine if you wanna use it (it's okay with me) but you might get a copyright notice like me so you know.
@@SeanSecret Oh okay thank you so much for noticing me about the shared revenue copyright, i got that once and i dont know how if it may impact the channel negatively for the future so maybe ill try to find another music, your cover was a real banger im sad 😭
@@SeanSecret Did you completely redo everything in the DAW without using a single beats/samples from the original and still get copyright notice? I found it very tricky today to just do any covers... so does YT notify you on this so you can choose to either share the revenue or not upload anything?
@@AnnieTaylorChen Yes I remade everything from scratch! But it seems the system doesn't trigger on samples but rather a similar melody or sound - so it recognizes the song that way? I'll get a notification and an e-mail from UA-cam about copyright stuff and any action I take makes no difference. Anyway making covers is barely worth it today I feel. If I do covers it'll be for songs that are in the public domain instead. But even then you're not always safe because the system might think you're stealing someone else's cover xD
