For anyone wondering how to interpret this: 1. Find your midheaven, ie Sagittarius 2. Find the house it’s in, ie 10 3. Sag is ruled by Jupiter 4. Find what sign your Jupiter is in, ie Leo 5. Find what house your Jupiter is in, ie 6th house 6. Sixth house represents pets, health, etc. 7. So I guess work with pets, helping others, health, etc. Pls correct me if I’m wrong ❤
Here’s an example: My midheaven is in Virgo, on the tenth house (corporations, management, leadership). It’s ruler, Mercury (quick, analytical) is in Aries, in the 5th house (romance, creativity, children). I am a data analyst working in corporate healthcare by day but also a performing and visual artist at night. I hope this helps.

My mid heaven is in Capricorn, I have Saturn in the 12th house. So according to this video, points to working with mental health/addiction. Pretty crazy because I am a bartender and love it but really feel pulled to go back to school to study addiction. My dad died 2 months ago from alcoholism, my grandfather died at 46 from it as well, my brother is in rehab for drugs and alcohol, and I am currently 6 years sober from opiates. I have always thought addiction was very interesting especially having so many personal ties to it. Something to think about for sure.

Yet for years now, maybe 9 years at this point, I have NOT been able to let go of the idea of creating my own sanctuary. I feel like what I want to offer the world is a safe space, bc there are so few of those. I want to work with the earth (ceramics, Jupiter in Taurus 12h, and I’m a Saturn Ahtmakaraka, it’s at 29 degrees in my chart) and have my own land with my own woodfire and soda fire kilns one day, and have retreats, artists and non artists alike. But it seems so impossible and far away. I have no idea where to actually start. The fact that Saturn just exacted my MC and is still conjunct it, all that’s been on my mind is I KNOW I have to make a big change, or maybe a big change is coming. I KNOW I can’t stay here, I keep thinking that owning land and the community I’m meant to meet is overseas again. But that fear of never finding where I belong or what I’m suppose to do (the connect between saturn and fear and Aquarius and belonging is not lost on me) is just… as overwhelming as ever. Anyhow, I just wanted to reply bc I think the mention of “sanctuary” on one of these comments here spurred it. I feel like whenever I’ve asked my self about my life’s “WHY”… I’ve come to realize that I’ve always been meant to find sanctuary in myself for, instead of providing it for others first. But I would absolutely love to get the a point where in can have and share it, in the material.

in vedic astrology, usually our 8H (placidus) is our 9H vedic. so yep, there's connection between those two. i think, philosophically speaking, part of our death & rebirth (8H) is our 9H thing (higher level learning).

I have a Gemini MC in the 10th house, and my Mercury is in the 1st House of Virgo (I’m very proud of my Virgo rising, it balances out my Leo sun 😅). I don’t know how I am making a career out of my looks/ appearance, but I did study acting for a long time, and am now a film producer and hoping to show run/ direct more in the future (if this helps anyone in the comments with similar placements)!

I’m also a writer and was a mom blogger for ten years. I’m in the process of guiding my children towards a learning/college path using their astrology to help find their career path and college plans of study.
I'm so bad at reading my chart but if I followed your guidance correctly mine would be in the third house, which had me shook because it said writing and I always wanted to be a writer - my first dream job was to be a magazine editor, I wrote for my high school newspaper and worked for my college newspaper. I also wrote/produced a radio show and podcast in college and wrote for an online college magazine. I wanted to work in that field so badly but didn't believe enough in myself - I definitely feel like I should start to pursue it in some way again now.
I have mine in the 3rd house too. Lol. I have attempted to write short stories in the past. I now have a blog and I’m currently working on building my own talk show + trying to get my hands into directing or producing shows. Thought I’d give an example as I’m almost 32 and have been working since I was 16: My MC is in Capricorn, in my 9th house, and just a few degrees away from Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of educating people, ever since I was a little girl. I’ve always rose up to leadership positions quickly at my jobs. People have always told me that I can come off a little stern or hard when they first start working with me. Jobs that I have had include bartending, serving, being a manager at restaurants until I learned you don’t make as much money lol, teaching yoga, leading yoga teacher trainings, teaching about yoga philosophy and meditation, managing yoga studios… And now I’m a physical therapist assistant (because that’s the level of schooling I decided to choose to save time and start making money sooner), and I also create educational content online about the body, exercises, and meditation. Last, I have a really sweet stellium in my Sagittarius 8th house, and my sun is in scorpio, so I love the occult, things that are taboo, and understanding things like astrology, pelvic health, etc. As a side job I started reading astrology for people, and I specialize in pelvic health physical therapy to help others talk about topics they normally feel embarrassed to bring up. I naturally chose this career path over the years and it makes so much sense knowing my chart. Hope reading this can help someone understand theirs a little bit better ❤

MC in Leo, sun in Aries in the (WS) 6th house. My dream career would be of a poet and singer/songwriter (I also have POF in Virgo in the 11th, so 🤞). I find people sometimes forget the 6th house is Mercury ruled, detail-oriented and it can also signify spending hours staring at the page or typewriter in order to best polish your vocabulary, or perfect your creation. Not only health, costumer service or pets as many state... however, I can also hold some space for those areas because my “practical” career choices would be in Psychology/counseling, social work or teaching. But then again, I have the (Placidus) sun in the 5th (a stellium with Mercury and Jupiter, and NN in Leo too) so I just ache to do something creative and having my voice be heard for once, as much as I value helping others... I think I wouldn’t last long in those fields before getting sick of the monotony, the always fading to the background, or having to respond to superiors... I becamne fascinated last Summer with a mortician/funeral director and embalmer, and how that particular career or those like it in the death care industry, could be found in an astrology chart. In his case, his chart was replete with Taurus. He's young, and loaded, set for life at only 22 with 6 years experience having started at 16. Taurus MC, Venus conjunct the MC, all in the 10th house. This is certainly not the case for every mortician. Anyway, intriguing study! I have a Cancer MC, Aquarius Moon in the 4th House. I'm a musician, I've debated death care, an astrologer, and occultist, and mainly, a tarot card reader who has thrown around tattooing. I'm still not sure what's in store, though I'd love to play the drums, and do tarot for the rest of my life.

Your career is where you're most publicly visible, just as the Sun is at noon. With visibility comes reputation. It helps to put it in context of the 4th house/10th house axis, 4th house is the nadir, where the Sun is at its lowest point (hidden) and it talks about your home and private life. So 4th house - what you do in private, 10th house - what you do in public. Home life vs. career.

from my analysis, here's my theory: if my sister's 9H sun sextile affects her career is true, (long distance travel) then my very own 8H mercury square jupiter must be true (research, finance). Coincidentally or not, I recently had previous chart readings from two different genres of astrology, one Vedic and one Thai, both emphasized on me finding success in academic research and investigative finance related matters. It also relates to using the hands to create order/symmetry or being thrifty in some way. Libra relates to art & partnership. You can also look at the 10th house and its ruler. And you can also look at the D10 chart for further understanding. The divisional chart applies only for Vedic astrology.

6. Sixth house represents pets, health, etc.

Pretty crazy because I am a bartender and love it but really feel pulled to go back to school to study addiction. My dad died 2 months ago from alcoholism, my grandfather died at 46 from it as well, my brother is in rehab for drugs and alcohol, and I am currently 6 years sober from opiates. I have always thought addiction was very interesting especially having so many personal ties to it. Something to think about for sure.

Graduated with Degree in Biology, taught English and lived in three different countries overseas for 6 years, was becoming more attuned to the holistic spirituality side of life during my Saturn return but still thought I was meant to “teach” (merc and Asc in gemini (the messenger)) (but watched a vid just today with Maren and Alyssa, Maren said something about mc in aqua is more meant to INSPIRE… and that resonated with me so deeply. That’s all I want.) so moved stateside and became a certified Montessori “guide”, and using more of my observational skills and getting to focus more on social and emotional vs being involved in a teacher centered classroom was admittedly better, but at the end of my first year I became so incredibly burnt out with the disciplinarian side of things (my cancer sun in my 1H opposes both my sag Uranus and Saturn in my 7H) and working with other people, so I pivoted and starting my own dog walking and petsitting business, self employed, make my own hours, no getting up at the same time everyday (MC aqua 9H, Pisces 10H) and animals and nature are my soul food. Yet for years now, maybe 9 years at this point, I have NOT been able to let go of the idea of creating my own sanctuary. I feel like what I want to offer the world is a safe space, bc there are so few of those. I want to work with the earth (ceramics, Jupiter in Taurus 12h, and I’m a Saturn Ahtmakaraka, it’s at 29 degrees in my chart) and have my own land with my own woodfire and soda fire kilns one day, and have retreats, artists and non artists alike. But it seems so impossible and far away. I have no idea where to actually start. The fact that Saturn just exacted my MC and is still conjunct it, all that’s been on my mind is I KNOW I have to make a big change, or maybe a big change is coming. I KNOW I can’t stay here, I keep thinking that owning land and the community I’m meant to meet is overseas again. But that fear of never finding where I belong or what I’m suppose to do (the connect between saturn and fear and Aquarius and belonging is not lost on me) is just… as overwhelming as ever.
Anyhow, I just wanted to reply bc I think the mention of “sanctuary” on one of these comments here spurred it. I feel like whenever I’ve asked my self about my life’s “WHY”… I’ve come to realize that I’ve always been meant to find sanctuary in myself for, instead of providing it for others first. But I would absolutely love to get the a point where in can have and share it, in the material.

in vedic astrology, usually our 8H (placidus) is our 9H vedic. so yep, there's connection between those two. i think, philosophically speaking, part of our death & rebirth (8H) is our 9H thing (higher level learning).

I have a Gemini MC in the 10th house, and my Mercury is in the 1st House of Virgo (I’m very proud of my Virgo rising, it balances out my Leo sun 😅). My MH is in Aquarius, Saturn is ruler in my 5th house (Virgo). As I look at my progression of careers. I worked in telecom, then in electric utilities, and now in healthcare as an IT Project Manager. I’m also a writer and was a mom blogger for ten years. I’m in the process of guiding my children towards a learning/college path using their astrology to help find their career path and college plans of study.
I'm so bad at reading my chart but if I followed your guidance correctly mine would be in the third house, which had me shook because it said writing and I always wanted to be a writer - my first dream job was to be a magazine editor, I wrote for my high school newspaper and worked for my college newspaper. I also wrote/produced a radio show and podcast in college and wrote for an online college magazine. I wanted to work in that field so badly but didn't believe enough in myself - I definitely feel like I should start to pursue it in some way again now.
I have mine in the 3rd house too. Lol. I have attempted to write short stories in the past. I now have a blog and I’m currently working on building my own talk show + trying to get my hands into directing or producing shows. My MC is in Capricorn, in my 9th house, and just a few degrees away from Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of educating people, ever since I was a little girl. I’ve always rose up to leadership positions quickly at my jobs. People have always told me that I can come off a little stern or hard when they first start working with me.
Jobs that I have had include bartending, serving, being a manager at restaurants until I learned you don’t make as much money lol, teaching yoga, leading yoga teacher trainings, teaching about yoga philosophy and meditation, managing yoga studios…
And now I’m a physical therapist assistant (because that’s the level of schooling I decided to choose to save time and start making money sooner), and I also create educational content online about the body, exercises, and meditation.
Last, I have a really sweet stellium in my Sagittarius 8th house, and my sun is in scorpio, so I love the occult, things that are taboo, and understanding things like astrology, pelvic health, etc.
As a side job I started reading astrology for people, and I specialize in pelvic health physical therapy to help others talk about topics they normally feel embarrassed to bring up.
I naturally chose this career path over the years and it makes so much sense knowing my chart.

I find people sometimes forget the 6th house is Mercury ruled, detail-oriented and it can also signify spending hours staring at the page or typewriter in order to best polish your vocabulary, or perfect your creation. Not only health, costumer service or pets as many state... however, I can also hold some space for those areas because my “practical” career choices would be in Psychology/counseling, social work or teaching.
But then again, I have the (Placidus) sun in the 5th (a stellium with Mercury and Jupiter, and NN in Leo too) so I just ache to do something creative and having my voice be heard for once, as much as I value helping others... I think I wouldn’t last long in those fields before getting sick of the monotony, the always fading to the background, or having to respond to superiors... I becamne fascinated last Summer with a mortician/funeral director and embalmer, and how that particular career or those like it in the death care industry, could be found in an astrology chart. In his case, his chart was replete with Taurus. He's young, and loaded, set for life at only 22 with 6 years experience having started at 16. Taurus MC, Venus conjunct the MC, all in the 10th house. This is certainly not the case for every mortician. Anyway, intriguing study! I have a Cancer MC, Aquarius Moon in the 4th House. My Midheaven is at 23°40' in Sag in 10th house, and Jupiter is retrograde in Aries in my 2nd house. I work as a data/BI analyst and my job is not linked at all to finances...it is well paid though. Your career is where you're most publicly visible, just as the Sun is at noon. With visibility comes reputation. It helps to put it in context of the 4th house/10th house axis, 4th house is the nadir, where the Sun is at its lowest point (hidden) and it talks about your home and private life. So 4th house - what you do in private, 10th house - what you do in public. Home life vs. career.

IMHO, I see some correlations, now I just need to figure mine out 🥲
from my analysis, here's my theory:
if my sister's 9H sun sextile affects her career is true, (long distance travel)
then my very own 8H mercury square jupiter must be true (research, finance).
Coincidentally or not, I recently had previous chart readings from two different genres of astrology, one Vedic and one Thai, both emphasized on me finding success in academic research and investigative finance related matters. My current field is in accounting as well (not thrilled to continue it tbh, maybe branching out would be best).

So both Sag and 9H relate to higher edu, travel, foreign things, teaching, philosophy. Mercury also relates to learning/edu. It also relates to using the hands to create order/symmetry or being thrifty in some way. Libra relates to art & partnership.
You can also look at the 10th house and its ruler. And you can also look at the D10 chart for further understanding. The divisional chart applies only for Vedic astrology.
