I don't need to be sold -- I'm already into whole-sign houses -- but the philosophical understanding of why -- it would be good to hear what you have to say. That and, apart from the MC/IC, what the meaning of quadrant house systems might be, if any, clearly different from whole signs.
When I looked up my chart in whole sign houses, it completely changed so much of my chart. Like my stellium(Mercury, Venus, Mars) is now in a different house, my sun is in a different house, my moon is in a different house, my Saturn, my Uranus, my Pluto. Yikes I’m not sure what to believe now.
Same! I had a 9th house Stellium in the Placidus System. In the whole sign system, all of those planets are in other houses. I can’t lie, the whole sign system placements are pretty accurate. However, there are still some placements that are quite relevant in the Placidus System. There are some astrologers on UA-cam who use the whole sign system, but they incorporate all of the planets in their readings. And there are some astrologers who use both systems in their readings. It’s all about what resonates with you from what I’m understanding. I am somewhat of a newbie in astrology, but I am figuring things out also. Good luck to you!

It has a setting where you can adjust the charts for different house systems like Placidus, Whole Sign, Equal house… There’s A version of the app that you can pay for or a free version. The app that you pay for gives you more information and more freedom to do more things of course. You know how they do. Hope this helps

And reading if seemed pretty accurate but so did alot of the placidius so idk which one to refer to now! With whole charts I now have an 8th house stellium as well as two planets, my north node and midheaven now in the 9th house

I’m trying to decide which of the house systems is better. I’ve heard other astrologer say that they use both. The whole sign houses for theme related issues. The Placidus house system for psychological related issues. Something like that. Happy new year to you!
