As an American who has not driven this route, I find it lovely, and note how many of our towns and cities in my country are named after places in England. Yes, I could drive from New London to Bristol, in Connecticut.
Wow! £1.26/litre for petrol? That's about double what I paid today here in Australia. Nice video! I was amused with everybody in London dressed like it's summer. According to the web on May 26 it only got to 19C in London. Brave souls!!!
Glad you liked the video. There is heavy tax on petrol here unfortunately! Also unfortunately, the average high is a lowly 23C for the hottest months in London, so we have to take advantage of it when we can :)
@@SquirrelKnight50 Our fuel prices were £0.95/litre, now £1.15 and everybody's outraged. Most Australians drive the likes of dual cabs, 4x4s or SUVs, so 6 cylinder cars are common. EVs are still a novelty here. We have a motorhome that does 25L/100km and visit our son once a month who lives a 6 hour drive away. I have an 800 litre tank so haven't filled it for quite a while.
Bad driving! It’s not a route I’m familiar with so I use Google maps. I always use the visual map more than the voice directions, and if I’m not sure which is the right exit visually I’ll go right around the roundabout to make sure. Alternatively I may not have been paying close enough attention
Excellent video, this was great learning for me in terms of understanding the route from London and Bristol as I recently moved to the UK and living in Bristol. The video was also very useful to learn how to drive on a motorway Just wanted to know why you had to detour from M4 and come back to it later?
Landscape driving into Bristol is truly spectacular - like entering into another country and I love the two tiered motorway.
Great . I'm really thrilled it's unprecedented tour through highway in green nature ❤️

Why didn't come off the M4 onto the M32 and then drive straight into the City Centre?
great video idea
Driving from Bristol to London !!! Driving to Bristol is like entering into another Country !!!
Puzzled why you went right round the roundabout at the A4/M4 exit west of Reading.
