hey. great video on westcoaster but i have a little problem with it i havent found an answer. since i got my westcoaster, its been really sticky to trying to crankflip it. is there anything i could do to make it less sticky?
It all depends on the lubricant that you put on the hub, if you make a very thick one, it will not turn well for the crankflip, worry that it is not lithium
I have the new bsd free coaster the one with the nasa rim and the wheel is locking and difficult to pedal and when I take it apart there’s no way to get the clutch out to grease it and clean inside the hub
Hi guys, I recently purchased this freecoaster, I’ve ridden it for a week now and there’s a wobble side to side, almost like the cone nuts are loose but they’re right? Is this normal or is there a problem? It doesn’t wobble when it’s engaged too. Thanks for the help
I’ve just started having this problem with mine. I looked and saw that the small bearings in the driver were fucked and that was causing the wobble, even when cones are tight
Hi guys great vid but when i go to take out the axel it wont come out without taking off the non drive side nut and then i cant get the driver out. Pls help
@@harvesterbmx i got a brand new westcoaster v2 hub,as soon as i got it i took it apart to properly grease it because freecoasters dont usually come with enough ! I put it back together and went for the first ride on it and after 10 mins there is play in the wheel like the cones are loose but there not at all,there is a c clip on the driver bearing and a c clip on the non drive side bearing so they should keep it all snug.... Any help would be apperciated Thank you
How often would you say the hub needs to be cleaned out and re-greased?

Cause it is the worst freecoaster ever made, had it for 2 months and it was so bad that i've decided to switch back to a khe system

Guys.... Inside the hub is a little spacer ...and if you will remove it .....it will spin fast AF

Hey do you guys know what the hub uses for friction to engage as I couldn't see any pins on the axle like a traditional hub usually has. Thanks
rubber o-ring inside the clutch which creates so much friction that it cant spin even 3/4 crank backwards, forget about crankflips on this hub
