I could spend an hour describing the differences between LDS and Biblical Christianity. If all of Christianity is apostate and the LDS church is the only true church, why do LDS missionaries try to make it sound like they believe the same things as all other Christians? In fact, I have not found a single LDS doctrine that agrees with the Bible.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe that the authority of the church was taken away after the death of the apostles causing an apostasy. There are several apostasies recorded throughout the Bible, restored by prophets such as Moses and Abraham. During apostasies, eternal doctrines are often misinterpreted and misunderstood. We believe that God restored His church through the prophet Joseph Smith, restoring His authority on the Earth, as well as clarifying doctrines, restoring doctrines, and teaching new doctrines.
