My mom talked me out of multiple haircuts when I was younger, claiming my curly hair wouldn't look good in short styles, so I love to see parents that fully support their kids choices. I had gone all over short in October, but let it grow out for prom (bc I wanted an updo, and it looked amazing) and then Jojo Swia chopped all her hair off and I decided I would too. I've had it half shaved ever since.

Puberty blockers are 100% reversible and regularly given to children for a number of other conditions (bone growth issues, genetic disorders, hormonal imbalances, illness). All they do is safely delay puberty until the child is old enough to decide on their own. It doesn't effect future fertility, either. Puberty blockers give children the option to just.. be a kid and not worry about this until later. I highly recommend you read about standard pediatric care if you're going to speak on the subject. At the end of the day, we're all in agreement-- kids deserve to be kids and focus on their childhoods. and for some children, that means puberty is a potentially traumatic experience that can be 100% safely delayed until they're mature enough to decide.

LILLIA'S new hair style looks great!...Im just so confused to why her classmates would ask about pronouns and name change just because she got a short haircut??....are the schools overwhelming the kids with all the transgender talk so much so that a child cant even get a haircut without questioning her gender?....That was a bit startling.
they were just being nice and it would be better for someone who did want to change pronouns ect if they seemed open to it so it would make them feel more safe and supported rather than being ignored

The newer generations will save this planet, as long as we allow them to make it to adulthood. Because right now, seems like a whole lot of trashy adults would LOVE for them to NOT make it out alive sadly.
@@BMFL420 if some of the adults out there keep pushing for kids to change their gender and go on puberty blockers we won't have to worry about another generation because they won't be able to reproduce. Leave the kids alone. Their brains aren't fully formed until into their 20s. They don't understand the extent of what they want. We don't let them do a lot of things until they are adults but people are ok with them having surgery and puberty blockers. Why??? . Once they are adults they can do what they want. Leave the kids alone.
@@albertabyers7157 Surgery is NOT part of gender affirming care for minors, that's a myth. Puberty blockers are 100% reversible and regularly given to children for a number of other conditions (bone growth issues, genetic disorders, hormonal imbalances, illness). All they do is safely delay puberty until the child is old enough to decide on their own. It doesn't effect future fertility, either. Puberty blockers give children the option to just.. be a kid and not worry about this until later.
I highly recommend you read about standard pediatric care if you're going to speak on the subject. At the end of the day, we're all in agreement-- kids deserve to be kids and focus on their childhoods. and for some children, that means puberty is a potentially traumatic experience that can be 100% safely delayed until they're mature enough to decide.
