Best part of the Roku app - if you use a password manager like LastPass that has a phone app as well, you can copy/paste your complex passwords for various channels right into the keyboard in the app instead of having the use the clunky onscreen keyboard to type that long mess of a password.

I connect a Bluetooth Transmitter through optical audio cord to my Roku TV so my hubby and I can use our headphones. It works perfectly!

How do you access the auto sound level option sidebar. Do you bring that option side bar with the remote or the phone app?
It wasn’t mentioned - but you can set photos from your phone’s library album as screensavers as well as a clock widget and - for ten bucks - a weather widget. I have about 80 hi-res nature pics from trips to Europe, Asia etc. and I get a lot of compliments on it when people see it in the background. It looks great.
Love the leveling option, definitely helps when talking scenes are too quiet
Adjust your brightness thru the TV. There should me multiple settings.
i liked the private listening mode. Since i have the regular Ruku andruku plus, i;d have to use the ruku app. gonna try it out!!!

I like when the smart TV has Roku as the interface. All in one. You can use the HDhomeRun for over the air channels. And use the Thor petite ATSC modulator to sent the @ Receiver for C band channels!

I have a question about my Roku sound bar set up with a subwoofer and 2 wireless speakers. Why has the choices for the bass disappeared from the menu? I use to have the choice of 4 bass modes bass off normal etc. Now the choices are gone? Is this because of an update or is there a way to get the bass menu back as it was? I think the sound was better with those choices.
on any given remote for the Roku, do you know if the default programming can be reprogrammed? For example, I do not have Netflix anymore, can the quick key be reprogrammed to activate another application that is loaded on the Roku device? thanks in advance for your help...

I am 70 years old, and I've done my best to keep up with tech. But my TV watching experience is still in the Jurassic era. I would like to see a good video about what a Roku is. I can't really understand my Samsung TV. It's two years old and it's too old to download the Apple TV app. There needs to be a good video on the basics of how to watch TV for old people, LOL! Gotta say I love the new roku remote app and the Bluetooth headphone mode is a game changer for me. lol. I can now listen to movies at high volume with my Bose Noice canceling headphones and not disturb the upstairs neighbors

My recent 55" TCL 6-series (55R625) doesn't offer sound leveling. I've looked all over for it, because there is a _huge_ volume difference between streams and inputs. I think there might be an option for it if you use the TV's built-in speakers, but who wants to do _that?_
Auto levelling is great. And about time someone thought of it. Loud adverts that get you reaching for the remote don't bother you now.. Most people will figure these tips out eventually. But the roku offers more through apps. Watch someone you know as they upload live as it happen from their phone. So let's say your sister is on holiday. She can show you on your TV what its like in Ibiza at 2am as it happens. No delay. Lag or buffering. Live camera feed.. You'll be on the next flight 🌅

With one of the best cat? cable connected to the cable box HDMI port on my Samsung TV and I am getting HDCP problems like interuptions/pauses during changes of content like ads. I had a cheaper HDMI cable and thought that was the reason, but a newer/better HDMI cable is still doing that, not as bad, but do you think it is the cable or the port? I am using the ARC port for the TV to the Receiver so I don't think I want to switch, but would that be better for my connected ROKU ULTRA?
My Ruko just went channel crazy. I now have 66 antenna channels with over a dozen no data available... but with the streaming channels. It goes from 101-1124..... how do I delete some of these?? Roku actually talks like Alexa but very limited. She can read what you're watching on your screen. She can tell you what time is it when the time isn't visual on the screen while you watching a movie or TV show and she can also can tell you the month and day. You have to turn on the text-to-speech feature on and you need the latest remote control with the mic just press the mic button and ask her . Those are the only commands I tested so far besides asking roku to start an app to watch or movie or show . She cannot tell you what the weather is, she cannot tell you a joke nor sing to you but hopefully in the near future they give Roku more commands.

Nice video, already knew all of this by fiddling around with mine haha but, I have a tip/advice if you're using the leveling option and you have a home theater, apps like Netflix won't give you dolby digital, dts etc surround sound that is because you're capping the dynamic range, you have to disable audio leveling in order to enjoy the correct output for movies with DD+, DTS, Dolby atmos! So, I mainly use it when I'm watching with my TV speakers and volumes are a bit to soft or not loud enough! :D

My new roku tv doesn't have sound leveling. Wish it did coz hulu is bad have to turn my tv volume to 60 to hear what i'm watching then an ad comes on and it vibrates the whole house it's so loud.
