Great win for the Braves and strider was nasty to Othani for his 200 strikeout!

Breaking the strikeout record is amazing, but doing it vs. Shohei is icing on the cake!

Spencer was hitting his stride(r) tonight. Good job Braves for bouncing back. The Angels have played them tough this series. Hopefully the Braves can get 2 out of 3 tomorrow.

@@django7762 Sorry I am a Royals fan ( hoping for better things in the future) who is now rooting for Braves. I know all about needing wins LOL. You guys have a good squad and I think you will be there in the mix for the AL Wild Card race as long as you don't go on horrendous losing streak. There are quite a few AL team in the Wild Card race that seem to be up and down and we can't figure them out (Yankees, Blue Jays, Red Sox, Mariners, etc). I think there is a lot of season to be played yet. Good luck!

What a great game. Strider has been in need of some support from the bullpen and he finally got it. Impressive outing by Strider to have the 2 walks in the 1st and then none after that. 99 might be looking at a Cy Young?? He should at least be in the conversation.

What in the heck is the Braves' mascot supposed to be? How about something that is related to being a Brave, like Chief Nocahoma or something distinctively Southern?
1. His name is "Blooper"
2. He's nothing different than any other mascot out there that has nothing to do with their team...like why is the Angels unofficial mascot a "rally monkey"...or Phillies mascot a green furry...or Wally for the Redsox...or the A's mascot being an elephant. It doesn't have to be a direct thing with the team.
3. They had a "Cheif Noc-a-Homa" mascot, but that didn't sit well with certain political movements and was removed

Because a rundown means you’re out 99% of the time. Rundown from a pickoff means you’re out 99.99999% of the time unless you can make the relay go like 10 times and hope the other team screws up.
odds of winning a rundown are incredibly slim, plus its possible to injure yourself
Another Acuña hater. Acuña was the only guy on base and the Angels could toss it back all day. Ronald would seriously risk injury trying to elude someone who’s like six feet away from him. He was cooked.
