About a month ago, I made a video saying that I doubted that LiAngelo Ball's comeback to the NBA would amount to anything, but now... here we are. Gelo joined the Charlotte Hornets Summer League roster and put on a clinic - his highlights have been going viral ever since he dropped 16 points in 16 minutes in his Summer League debut. But can LiAngelo Ball ACTUALLY become an NBA player? Let's find out.

The main conclusion that I want everyone to take from this video is that it's too early to tell whether LiAngelo Ball will make it in the NBA - very well could, but these 4 Summer League games alone don't reveal enough about his game to ensure that he'll be a good NBA player even tho he put up pretty solid numbers in these games. That's it. I'm not on any hater shit.
He doesn't need to be a crazy playmaker.
He will make it in the nbA even if they just stick him in a corner

We should’ve known better tho tbh he was a great high school player with great confidence and both of his brother are in the NBA so he had access to all the same things that they do such as the workout process and the drills etc we should’ve known he was putting in work Bc we know his brothers was pushing him

Gelo defense was okay in the summer league and he was the first person down the court so idk about saying he’s not quick plus he can create his own shot and dribble to the basket for lay ups

Gello'sexuals are so Obsessed they wont allow ANY criticism of his game, lol. What are gello fans basing his talent on, one game in the summer league where he scored 16pts. lol. Gello hasn't played competitive ball in 3yrs, that's a looong time. Detroit gave gello a shot and signed him to a 10 day, then waived him shortly after because he was overweight and slow. Now the Hornets are giving him a another shot because of LaMelo. If you look at the hornets roster they have a lot of guards already and both of their 2 way contracts are filled. The G league would be the right decision for the hornets. If gello can continue to impress in the G league, Give him a shot in the NBA. @@phoenix6381 right but the media was trying to make it seem like gello not in the NBA right now because he's not good enough. It took 3 years for him to get a chance because he made a dumb decision going into his freshman year of college not because he's not good enough to play in the NBA.
