- Working to restore this rusty Willys Station Wagon I found rotting in the woods. This is part one that was filmed over a few different days. In this video I try to free the stuck motor and then prepare to remove the engine to rebuild it. I have no experience with any of this so any tips will be appreciated.
Perfect! You've already earned points because you didn't think of starting that engine!
Because everyone on the internet has the bad habit of starting engines that have been idle for years!
They don't know that starting an engine that has been idle for years only ruins the engine!
That's it!
Let's go on!
I couldn't agree more!!!!
A+ in effort. That’s a pretty ambitious undertaking. Good for you. No such thing as failure. It’s just that some lessons are more expensive than others. Good luck. Love the old Willys.
Like the Johnny Cash song says "one piece at a time".
Hi mate love these old willys im new tour program looking forward to see what you do just little comment please all your bolts in a box so ya dont lose any im in england good on ya mate looking forward to this
@KaiserWillys you can find parts for your project
I have been ordering some stuff from them and Jeepsterman.
It has taken me over six months to do what you did in an hour and a half. 🤪😂😂😂.
Remove plow....amen
The front end looks too good to be covered up by a plow
Yes restromod
That's the overall goal.
A rebuild kit is over $800 but looks like you are going to need some machine work. Boring the cylinders .and new pistons. Witch are not cheap. If it was a overhaul kit only. I would do that. But I'm thinking different motor. I like the way you think 318 mopar.
yep one worse engines it in thier i know run what you well brought well i would just saying ford 300 or 350 either would be good more current both supported lots parts etc
Those are really good options.
