because if you're against an actual good Hakuda you will never parry anything, I'm a Hakuda main that's top #65 ingame with 15 winrate in ranked and I just turn around if they try to parry. I'm gonna be honest, the only way you can get out of a good Hakuda players combos is by having multiple evasives as they'll predict and spine rend you if you do your only evasive. current meta rn is speed kendo balance which has 3 evasives, unseen, balance T, and pressure shift. kido also has licht regen or sankt bogen.
Ok, one problem, The game likes to do a thing called "NU HUH" to some moves. The dodging one is really good if you have good ping and I don't wanna sound like I am coping but parrying isn't fun and seeing that there a move they use IF YOU PARRY TO CONTINUE THE COMBO GAME is wild.
this actually helped so much, I used to struggle hard with hakuda users, I watched this, hopped in ranked as a UNRANKED matched up with a 70k hakuda, and won, I praise this tutorial 🙏

1: ur not forced to parry against hakuda, just use any fast move (ex:fast fang) or any hyperarmor move (ex:waterfall dance), although these moves are extremely ping dependant and the times where u cant use them it means u got lag spiked. 2: 100 ms average isnt high ping, high ping is 150+ and in most games (like gpo) its still fairly playable and easy, but type soul's scripting is so dogwater that at mere 150ms ur already unable to play the game. 3: parrying in type soul is hard but it isnt THAT hard, the windows are just weird because the animations are badly done, it all comes down to experience, if you learn the parry time for a move it is easy to consistently parry that move.
Yeah it's why the parry system is hard the animation's are dogshit and the parry window is sometimes so low that you need to predict it instead of actually reacting and the Hakuda users can just feint or delay the move by a few seconds and you get GB

Kyoka Suigetsu's X and C Move can also get u out of the air combo (dont use the C move when they about to use the red move, js dodge like the guy in the video said cuz for some weird reason the C move bypasses Kyoka C move which is an counter)
Acting like hakuda doesnt have 5 combo starters that also act like combo extenders in the air (oh no you parried or dodged my combo guess I'll start over) hakuda needs a rework
I think one of the main issues about hakuda is the air time it gives you.. realistically if they use the red move and you block it, it shouldn't be their turn, but its designed so that even if you block it you are still in the air with negative frames and its still their turn, people can get you in the air then use multiple maves back to back to the point where it guardbreaks you. Idk why the fuck you should have to play rock paper scissors everytime you get put into the air and pray for good ping, just straight up bad air combo design and hakuda itself.
if this game has deepwoken's parry, no one would complain about hakuda. also as far as i know there are atleast 2 moves each skill tree that can get you out of hakuda combo (Skillbox and essences included), like unseen/waterfall for speed, pressure/horizon for kendo, etc just in case you dont wanna parry/dodge that shit.

Fighting hakuda is easy if ur getting hit pay attention and lock in they have very obvious animations which you can use to your advantage with hyper armour or dodging/ blocking
"120 ping is high" even in a server in a bordering state, with 300 download the lowest you will get is 80-100 ping, 140 maybe, 160 maybe, 120 is not high ping though the issue relies on the bad combat system
Couter hakuda tip # flash step near them and block(they likely shori there) After they lose shori hakuda will likely to push you to use tora reach you just need to run alway and spam whatever you have

Best way to counter hakuda is be hakuda, and have spine rend a hyper armor breaker with hyper armor, and absolute defense literally just a free damage denial with zero punishment and almost instant start up, so now then can someone explain to me why hakuda has a counter that does dmg and hits stuns and can't be blocked or parried in negation, the best hyper armor in the game in spine rend and absolute defense??!! Literally hakuda has so much in its kit for free, has a stupid gap closer, mobility, ranged options, counters, straight up damage denials, only hyper armor breaker in the game with hyper armor as well, and a stupid amount of block breakers and damage. Now explain to me why this kit has not been touched at all except a couple of sb nerfs? Devs fix the damn problems first before introducing new more broken shit that's going to get nerfed the next patch!!!!

If you run speed/kendo, moves like pressure shift and the unseen core also works very well against hakuda users.

Horizon cut is an instant move with super armor so if ya get in a combo you can use horizon cut to escape and turn it into your own combo

Btw with moves like the letzt arrow or still silver if you aim out of shift lock it’ll give the arrow aoe particles rather than a single line

If you didn't know most of the hakura moves with hyperarmour can be blocked
the red hakuda skill grabs through hyper armor (its blockable) so unless your sure its on cd or youve blocked it dont spam hyper armor

I live in Brazil, normally the minimum ping I have is 160 and goes up to 250... it's complicated
