- If you play speed there is a high chance you might be making one of these mistakes in this video I go over a bunch of mistakes a lot of speed users are making. This is essentially a speed PVP guide.

The mistake is people keep spamming so they run out of reijatsu
so when should i be using my moves because i fall victim to spamming my moves whenever i can aswell
@@jeshhh1426 im not the best and only gold 3 but just stack moves and get distance so u regen and use ranged moves like blade cero or cero to stop them if they rush or just to do damage

@@jeshhh1426spam moves if you can combo or are in range, but if you can, try to M1 (remember 25 m1s kill a person, even 2 takes almost half a bar and gives Rei back)

To counter specter step hold block, once you get attacked dash and the steps will end before your dash. So you will easily exit out of a possible combo. Haven’t tested it but you can delay your dash for a bit longer like atleast .7 seconds in case it doesn’t end before flashstep. This may not work if you constantly move so just stay still hold block for 1st slash then a delayed dash to exit out of a possible combo.
For arrancar they need soul style and vamp phage move since it steals rei on hit and a bit of rei if blocked
for speed arrancar a fun alternative is 18-20 hakuda and 45 speed
you can still get the unseen blade essence, have grimmjows weapon which is one of if not the best arrancar weapon right now, you get alot of mix up potential with air combos and most importantly you get pulse which throughout the match regenerates a considerable amount of reiatsu
I'm a Dirty Speed/Kido Quincy. This helped. Now, I got people complaining about me "Playing too Aggressively"???

duality even with the rei drain is still great with speed since the white Z has crazy range and the other ones are combo starters
Duality is just perfect to fill up vizard mask, imo the best ones
as a semi master last season speed variant vastocar, and full speed with harribel and light z and c skill you should always aim first and spam as many moves before you take a hit from the enemy because the rei will regen so fast if you don't take a hit first
And even tho Im also a beginner in ranked, I hella recommend blooming cut.
tbh i watches u sometimes to see what im doing wrong, but skill issues on my ass, the mistakes i do is haunting me

I personally like using gluttony with siphon variant and parnkgjas I basically never run out of rei cuz everything in my build gives me reiatsu lol
the only reason i use speed with arrancar is since i have true vastocar regen which lets me take a percentage of my oppenents rei and i can also gain hp faster so its really op but with the video i learned alot more that helped me with speed

Black claw is too powerful for speed rn, it’s just such a good move when your opponent at all tries to back up or if you land something that forces them back or you just get some kinda stun like Kyoka’s X move or smth. Honestly probably my favorite move. My only reasoning for not using specter is I don’t like mind games, yeah it’s insanely good but when my opponent has hyperarmor moves or a counter that they can use moves in (mostly looking at Kyoka) it is really hard to argue for the move being super effective at high elo.
Hyper armor moves are really the only counter, I personally still like it but against certain builds it can definetly hurt you I agree

@@elquesohombre9931 the timing of the first hit of specter is completely random and it is hard to tell when exactly to use the armored move without having it canceled
use it late and you’ll be feinted, use it early and you won’t catch them, use it at the right time and there’s a chance you’ll just waste a move because of bad luck
@@Stabbant2000 i mean you gotta be really unlucky for the slice to hit you the second you wind it up, it’s almost always a safe bet. Waterfall for example almost always works as a counter.
How do you feint specter step into another move? I’ve always tried spamming the m2 button but I end up getting countered or using a move after specter step ends which ends up leaving a delay where opponent can escape.
Its not completely true like for example w fast fang they usually block it so what I do is follow up with another move like waterfall that does a lot of posture, that let's me force them to get GB'd or hit into another combo

Simple rules you guys need to know about speed as a speed user since beta is first, predict your opponents; predicting opponents movements, if you know about movements then its best to use it as an advantage if not, learn it. second, as he said to NEVER run and hit especially if you whiff or throw all your movesets because 1.your rei will be drained which will be harder for your mobility to control, since speed takes up tons of rei because of the moves. for me since i run yamato sr. i mostly just start up with specter then predict my opponents and hit unseen, etc. thats practically it honestly, i am just extending his words + dont call me dorky or im haunting your walls tonight, and thanks for the video bat. i appreciate you giving tips to soul reapers.

Speed and kyokasuigetsu is broken, pop your clone and you and your clone can put double the pressure your clone will usually use moves like time cut or waterfall dance, and even specter step so combo with the same move and it’s insanely strong
yh kyoka takes no skill
I realised how good Spector step is when I got kyhetsugi basically got 2 Spector steps
if they block one the other ones a guaranteed gb, and parrying in this game is really difficult so barely anyone does it
Is zangetsu good with 60 speed build? The ragdolls allows for good combo extenders especially with time cut spectre step or fast fang, along eith odachi crit

Black claw is mandatory for speed. It refunds reiatsu more than the actual cost on hit, its almost unavoidable and has great range. It also has a second variant that goes behind people but idk how it procs. Its 10000x better than stratus strike. In combination with yamato m1s building soul style, black claw let me play arrancar full speed at lower/upper master level in ranked and win most my fights.

im a semi master and i just use yamato benihime my main combo is spector step feint into benihime C move works basically everytime and then i do strata into a fast fang or black claw if i do black claw i would quickly do unseen blade bc it has enough stun then go for fast fang so if yall wanna copy that then go crazy i just need to see benihime users not run so take my combo if needed

passive play style is more effective cuz if ur opponent is kendo youll get punished so badly youll prolly lose bar
2 questions regarding speed with Quincy:
1. Is Fear good with speed? I use the T as a gap closer and the G as a projectile that I combo into spalten crit
2. What are some good skill boxes? I’m using ghost cleave and black claw but idk if strata strike is better.
fear is good with kendo mostly
fear is good with anything, its the best schrift in the game

Strata and black claw is what I'm using but I got unseen, if you dont strata and flash fang or strata and ghost are decent

im top 30 ranked 1s lb, specterstep is trash free counter every time, flashfakeout is the best speed move, arancar speed is viable, top elo is slower more passive play that revolves around punishing mistakes. kendo is more aggresive than speed, black claw is heavily carrying speed.
my boy lox whose like ranked 8 put me on flash fakeout but when sm1s constantly running away its annoying asl hit 'cause the range sucks
specter still good if u use it when they dont got any hyperarmor moves nd feint it into like a fast fang or waterfall
@@batslc to use flashfakeout correctly u usually want some sort of hitstun first, im hakuda so i usually ghenna from slight range straight into a flashfakeout, if they parry miss on the flashfaekout’s feint, usually they base roll or flashstep which is when i use auto track ghenna variant. This variant is so free for pressure cuz like everyone counters it but no one knows its fientable, if they dont use a counter and parry or block it, listen to this, its positive on parry and block LOL, it has no parry stun at all so u can punish them for parring, i usually do it into warden crit or on my fire shunko i do ghenna auto track into fire shunko crit.

for me as a speed player, specter step is not as good for me tbh i know i can feint it but i do so much better without it. i know ur right but i do much better without it for some reason (yes i am 63 speed)

What is faint and how do you do it?
When you right click after immediately doing a m1 swing or a move, it will cancel the m1 or a part of the move, such as the 2nd hit of specter step allowing you to immediately follow up with an attack, or cero corazon skipping the teleport hit, and is generally good for mixups
Although feinting is not that strong for m1s, it’s still usable if your opponent focuses on a lot of parries, but it’s generally used for feinting moves stated before

more damage on certain moves, less rei drain and waterfall dance does an absurd amount of posture
I got silver 2 with randomised weapons and shikais, lemme put yall on 41 speed for waterfall dance and 24 kendo for vertical down and the other one

If you don't like waterfall dance then use 25 Kendo 40 speed for pressure shift (counter)

Just mash right click until the second hit comes in, by then you will have feinted it probably
