Thank you so much for this! I’ve been watching videos of others’ flip through of their She Reads Truth Bible and they weren’t addressing my concerns. After your review and flip through, I think I will buy it for Christmas. It would be my first ever, journaling Bible 🙈 May God continue to bless you and your family! ❤🎉
I have the She Reads Truth in CSB in rose gold identical to yours. I absolutely love it! I’ve been slow to write in it, though. I’m still marking a lot in my NIV. I will get more into journaling in the CSB, though.
I have this in the Champagne Gold which doesn’t have the gold edging. I have mine waiting to begin using on January 1st with a new reading plan . I plan to do the APPLE study method color coding in it and see how it goes because I have a CSB Note-taking bible I use for notes which has TONS of space. So far I am really enjoying the CSB for daily reading but also like the ESV quite a bit. So 2026 may be my translation change for a year along with new reading plan…Lord willing, I would like to give the Grant Horner reading plan a try. 😂
You're soooo speaking my language 😄 I'm going to look up the APPLE method and Grant Horner reading plan, I haven't heard of those! Since we're on the same page about translations and bibles, I bet I'll like them. Literally today maybe a half hour ago I was thinking about what reading plan I should follow now that I finished a chronological plan, and then you comment about it! I really want to read a Psalm and Proverb every day this time!
@ I did Chronological this year in my first journaling bible (NIV journal the word) and 2025 will be the Canonical and I have to force myself to go slower to be able to learn and remember more of what I study in each days reading. Major notes go in my CSB Note-taking bible. The Grant Horner is 10 chapters per day, one in each of 10 sections. Most every review I have read/watched on it…people LOVE it because they aren’t stuck in anything boring for very long. AND it gives the opportunity to see how everything in the OT and NT is connected. Many have learned so much from this reading plan. And it is customizable and there are some good ones if you don’t like the original one. I encourage others to look into it if they are curious. It focuses on the reading only, no study of any of the text. Many do book or chapter study separately from the plan.
I had to come back and tell you I looked into the APPLE study method and the Grant Horner reading plan and love them both! Thank you for telling me about them! I'm going to do a month of the GH reading plan and see how I like it, it sounds really exciting!
I have this exact Bible with the thumb tabs, I love it, the ghosting of the printed pages, you don’t notice it after a while x I’d definitely get another one when mine is filled :) great review, not many go into detail about the space and inks we can use x
I love my SRT Bible. It’s my comfy cuddle Bible. There is enough room for me to journal I use colored pencils and twistables so no bleeding through. My only complaint is the 8.5 font I bc wish it was at least a 9.
@ I usually just underline the verses while still being able to read the verse. When I take a note I use a 0.38 pen and color with a colored pencil after. I also bcwrite in sticky notes Nice and clean. I want to use my Bible for many years.
I have been searching for the perfect tabs for this Bible! Thanks for sharing them. I love mine. However, I have found that every Bible I found in this day and age that's under $100, will have ultra thin ghosting paper. I just cannot get away from it. Even my free RSV Bible that I got over 50 years ago had thicker paper. I still have it and used it for years. I don't care for cream paper either. I have that exact Journal Bible by Crossway also in Large print.. But the She reads Truth is white and lovely to hold. Not too big or small. Print size is OK for me as long as I wear my reading glasses. No problem.
I also love reading my Bibles I have a world Bible school study edition Bible and a catholic life Bible and a children Bible as well and mini Bibles kjv can I write in them with a Sharpie highlighter ❤
Since when do colours have a "masculine" or "feminine" thing like, all i hear in this video is just whinging on about irrelevant and miniscule over analysation and judgement of stupid things that dont matter
Colors in the US have been gendered since before I was born. It's a pretty well-known fact so I think you must live outside the US or are playing dumb to try to insult me. Either way doesn't particular concern me since both issues would be about you, not me. As far as you not caring about the details that I care about, you're entitled to not care about them. I'm obviously not a reviewer you enjoy watching, and it's okay that we like different things. However, commenting on or otherwise interacting with my channel will likely make my videos pop up on your page again so I wouldn't recommend doing so.

I'm SO excited it answered some of your questions! I hope you like yours when you get it! It'll be fun to have the same bible!
@ Definitely! I look forward to it! ❤️🎉

I haven't been able to bring myself to write in the she reads truth! How funny that we're both still writing in our other bibles! 😄
I have a coral She Reads Truth ..I do like the CSB...but I've wrote in mine!! 😅
You can always journal on paper of your choice and put it in your Bible with decorative tape...

Wow, I love the sound of that, thanks for explaining!

The candycane heart is so cute. You always have the most aesthetic setups ever! ❤
I just bought this for myself for Christmas. I continue seeing reviews and looks lovely.

I've been debating getting some colored pencils to try out, I heard it's difficult to write in pen over them, have you found that to be true?

Very, very helpful!

This was so helpful. You have done such a great job!
Does yours have glitter on the edge of the pages? I love mines but the glitter is everywhere 😊
Can you do a flip through of your crossway Bible and what your tabs on the top are?
I'd love to, are you talking about the smaller of the two Crossways? The two-column one? That bible is what I call my "therapy" bible 😄
I also love reading my Bibles I have a world Bible school study edition Bible and a catholic life Bible and a children Bible as well and mini Bibles kjv can I write in them with a Sharpie highlighter ❤
