Thanks! This was a great video. I am more interested in the weapons that the common people used than in those used by the nobility. Would the peasant soldiers have had any armor? If so, what types?
Im sure the Peasants would have had some type of armour, and those who were not professional soldiers would not have had plate or mail armour, but they would have had gambesons - padded or quilted linen or leather and an open-faced metal helmet. But they could also have took armour from the field of battle and used that.
