You see these are some of the statements that some of the industry people make that irks me. How can you just say you came in to “HELP” someone and when they became known they decide to change the plan etc. If you want to help someone and then later he says he doesn’t want your help anymore, should that make you upset or disappointed? It’s business, you invested in the person cos you also had an interest to make money that’s why you invested. So we should stop this false rhetoric that “ I came in to help them”. This “help” mentality is what has led our industry to this point cos we don’t take the BUSINESS seriously and do things professionally. Artistes also come to your platform often to say they were exploited and used by their managers and labels. So who’s to be trusted or blamed? Just be professional and take the business seriously and take all legal actions to make the business legit and successful.
