      Hold on guys, what's happening. First of all kerela gets segregated from Tamilnadu only after isolating the Indian states based on Linguistic basics( Language spoken) after India's Independence, before that it was a part of Tamilnadu(not only kerela but also present day Andra, Karnataka, Telungana). In that case Kerela is actually a son of Mother Tamilnadu and also the Kalari was originally founded in Tamilnadu which actually even dates back to many centuries from the VEDAS time. So don't own that Martial art form as purely from kerela( I am not being offensive, I know that compared to the present day Tamilnadu there are more number "Gurukulam" in Kerela and also Malayalis( son or Daughter of Tamil) are doing a great job in developing the Art. Being a founder of a beautiful Art we Tamil peoples( CHOLA, PANDYA and CHERA)are very proud. And also I want to say something that anyone can be proud of any regional art forms of india and no one does not have the right to block them from being proud. But now we are all "INDIANS" so basically we are brothers and sisters, even our comments(not only in this video but each and every comments) in this video can be read and analysed by The Google(which actually owns the UA-cam right now) for their benefit of earning money by understanding the mentalities of the people of India. Don't give space to the other corporates to divide us. BE CAREFULL BEFORE COMMENTING ON ANY VIDEO, BECAUSE GOOGLE IS WATCHING US. Thank you all for making me discuss here, especially that Kerela Brother. Love u all, make way for the peace. Don't stop just by commenting alone, share this and contribute( doesn't mean only abt the money) something to this older Art forms. Pround to be a Indian and also pround to a human too.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    The first thing the British did after completely occupying malabar was to close down all kalari schools. They knew its power. Kalari is totally indigenous and every step is described in pure malayalam.

      We didn't ban Indian swordsmanship. We closed loads of schools where people were suspected of rebellion. Trust me Britain held Indian soldiers in pretty high regard which is why we recruited so many. Why would we stamp.out the very skills we wanted from Indian fighters?

    • @ncowboy677
      @ncowboy677 5 років тому +34

      Joe Bloggs because 1 of their solders (fully trained) could kill 30-70 of your men that’s why they were considered ‘rebels’, it was more of a media thing to make it look better. At least that’s what we are told in America. On a side note why would someone believe something they are told by the very person who stamped them out?

      @@joebloggs5318 Not entirely false but as we all know its not as innocent as it sounds. Kalari schools hold weapons for practice, I mean it is the art of warfare after all. So the British used ''rebellion'' as an excuse to shut down kalari schools and imprison the gurus. People were not allowed to 'hoard weapons' (without which you cannot practice the art form). So although the British didn't outright ban kalari they did everything in their power to stop it from spreading which indirectly lead to the very close extinction of the authentic art form by the time Britain was done looting and rampaging all over India aka 200+ years.
      Also don't make it sound like they recruited soldiers out of respect of whatever. The British just wanted someone to fight their wars and ofc the life of an Indian was considered far less worthy than that of a English man, hence recruited Indians (and people from other colonies) to fight their battles.
      P.s : I have not taken an offensive stance yet (used British instead of making it personal) although you used 'we' implying you agree with what your ancestors did to us but if you defend your ancestors again reading or learning only what British history has taught you , it will change.

      @lotharluder2743 5 років тому

      Sieht gut aus. Scheint mir aber für das Schlachtfeld nicht wirklich geeignet. Mit Choreographie kommt man nach Bolliwood und Hollywood. Ist ja auch gut. Alles ist besser als der beschissene Schützengraben. Sowieso die ganze Kampfkunstscheisse gut für die Fitness aber eine beschissene Pistole macht das alles Obsolet. Naja und Messerkampf ist ja auch noch son Thema für sich. Ein Schwertkampf auf Leben und Tod ist in der Regel kein langes Tänzchen. Ausser man hat Zeit zum Spielen. Und nur so mal für Anfänger. Die Römer hatten ihr Schwert meistens als Stichwaffe eingesetzt. Die Klopperei kommt aus Hollywood. Gladiatoren mussten ja auch immer ne gute Show liefern. Den Scheiss konnte man auf dem Schlachtfeld allerdings dann schon eher brauchen. Nicht zuletzt war der wunderbare Held Spartakus so erfolgreich, dem römischen Militär lange Zeit den Arsch zu versohlen.

Nokku marma through our look, Ooth marma through our breath, thodu marma through our touching. One can study complete marma then that practicer can control another body through his mind(like mesmerism and hipnotism).

      Indians love China Kung Fu, their martial arts replication comes from China Kung Fu and Movie. India is a country that loves fantasy. History of aggression, cultural mixing multiple countries, including ancient Chinese culture and technology.
      The Royal Palace of India is also a Persian architecture.
