The jobs in LA are hella limited and don't pay anything. I once moved there back in 2017 and couldn't find a job for anything. Had to go through a temp service and that paid crumbs. I remember I went to a barber shop, and as the barber was cutting my hair he asked where I was from. When I told him, he was like man why come here, we're trying to move out there lol. It made me think, and I just went ahead and moved back to Texas, and literally found a job the same day I moved back. I was only out there for like 3 months.

This is so true. I'm not from LA but I recently visited my cousin who relocated from the BX to LA (Inglewood) 10 years ago. When she first moved there she stood out like a sore thumb. They immediately knew she was not originally from LA and she still stand out. We went to a few restaurants in Inglewood including the Roscoes in Inglewood. Every where we went people asked are you from NY lol. And of course, I can't descize my accent. 🤦🏽♀️ Although it's not the same location where PNB was murdered, it was still sketchy looking in my opinion, aka hood lol. I'm originally from Brooklyn and old school Brooklyn not the gentrified one. I learned a lot from back in the days, when it was wild.. I'm not from LA even though I've been flying back n fourth from H-Town to LA my whole life but even where I'm from in Houston, I never went to the inner city hoods. I'm a suburban guy and I keep it that way.
