    I’d love for you to try cornflake tart, it’s a traditional British dessert that’s served in schools usually. Many people have fond memories of it here 💯🙌🏻

    Not too sure what about this is supposed to be German. We definitely do not have Pies like this one traditionally.

      Lea Schm It’s called German chocolate cake because the type of chocolate used was called German’s chocolate. It has nothing to do with Germany. Fun fact.

      Alexandra Johnson Yes, you are right. The cake has it’s origins from an American baker in the 19th century named Samuel Baker who developed the chocolate and in the 1950s the cake recipe was created by Texan homemaker Mrs. George Clay.

    Do you have to add the walnuts and coconuts?

      German Chocolate cake traditionally has the coconut and walnuts, but you could leave it out. The topping might be too wet though
