- Last week I had the opportunity to film this amazing Nissan 350z with a wide body Rocket Bunny kit. This build is really something else, from the paint to the fitment it really catches your eye and does not let go.
Thanks to Juan Jose for taking the time and sharing the story behind this build. For more updates on the build follow him on instagram: @cjuanjosefuente

I don't speak spanish but I understand what he's saying.
hahahha
This paint is so amazing
Teah it definetely is. But as good as it looks it is even harder to get it done. The whole process took them a lot of time and multiple times repainting the same parts to get it right.
Fav small car
do you know what kind of chassis wing that is and where he got it from? looks sick
Honestly no idea, you can dm him on instagram. His acc is in the description 😉
Nice work. How do you get the shot at 5:52?
I was in the booth of another car with a gymbal
Thank you 🙏 I might do a bts video of the next automotive shoot on my second channel @perhat22photo
@@perhat22 Cool. Is handheld (say with a handle and cage) too bumpy for these kinds of shots? I've owned a Ronin-M gimbal before and it's a pain in the ass to operate and manage. Any recommendations? There's the Tilta car rig which is pretty sweet with the quick release. Might be the same setup time and maintenace as running a handheld gimbal.
@@taunado A smaller simpler gimbal might be the easiest way to fix it. The ronin M is a huge unit (this video was shot on the ronin SC). A smaller gimbal will also be much cheaper than the tilta rig, especially if you get it used. When it comes to setup other than balancing the gimbal all I need to do is fold the rear seats, I don't really use a harness or anything. Not the best idea I know 😅
You can do it handheld but need to weight down your camera quite a bit to be able to get smooth footage, also IBIS and OIS would help a ton. I want to try it again now that I have a full rig for my X-H2s.
In the past whenever I did handheld rollers I would shoot them in 60fps, sacrifice some of the motion blur to have more frames for post stabilisation to works its magic, but it still does not get you even close to a gimbal (you can see it in the honda civic ej6 and BMW e340 540 videos on this channel). Ideally if you have a smooth road handheld with a top handle might work, but most roads around me suck 😂
@@perhat22 Cool. I see the new DJI gimbal has auto-focus with lidar as well as auto-pan - pretty insane that you can rig the camera and drive the car and it will track and capture for you, though in reality you'd probably want to be directing the movement and composition etc. Not sure how much of a problem auto-focus is on a regular gimbal.
