Hey Matty! Have you driven the new GR Hilux and can you confirm if it suffers from the same issue? I've heard that they programmed the GR differently but not sure if it made that much of a difference in these scenarios. Cheers 🍻
GR Hilux still requires a lock up, only slight engine file modification is changed from the factory given is a small boost in power compared to other hilux varients

Can the lockup clutch take this, it is snall and only to take up locking in 6 gear at high speed unloaded.

What size are your tires?
It’s a small engine with so small Ute with big tyres which look out of proportion for this small Ute.
