Why's there so many dislike ? Do the internet cutting a whole tree with an axe experts dont approve of this video for some reason
Idiots probably don’t realize the tree is completely dead and will end up falling down anyway. Dude probably got half a winters worth of fire wood from that tree.
@@marcuslarwa9098 exactly
He didn’t need the wood from the tree he cut down he just wanted to use the stump as a table to eat the bear he kill with his bare hands
Que dramático.
el árbol estaba muerto
Se nota que saben Inglés eh
🤣🤣🤣
He will actually use that wood later.
You never stop to amaze me👍
Its soo cool that you use old methods like this,so that this heritage doesn’t goes lost.
Stay safe n well brother 👍🇸🇪❤️🇩🇰
fika fika on that.
I found a lot of peace in the rhythmic chopping and the sound of the wood giving way.

Excellent comment. He seems to do everything with honor.
Bob Anderson Word!
I've just witnessed the longest working cut scene ever
This is why we montage.
What a quality axe! And as stated before: the all around production here is superb.
Much respect to all involved. Especially seeing the care and respect that was shown in this. The clean-up on the stump. Not sure his reason in particular but it's best not to cause snags if you can avoid it.
That’s more of a hatchet and super soft wood. Still cool tho.
@@jimmylarge1148 It certainly is still cool. I was almost definitely high as hell when I wrote that. But that does nothing to diminish the craftsmanship involved here.
He probably made both axes, he's a Blacksmith....
I like how you stopped and appreciated the tree after you cut it down.
No one is happy as him cutting down the tree with lovely smile all time
That’s okay. Tree is a resource. Just use it appropriately.
Stop cutting a trees as less as possible, since global warning ⚠️ and all the countries should set up a law to the people to cutting trees
@@emil_mm Yes, but he just stay 1 night and leave, so is wasting resources as what he loves, ridiculous
@@punjabchan1988 how do you know he didnt use this tree? I'm sure that someone that enjoys and lives the nature as much as he does would have a use for such a tree. I'm against cutting trees for no reason but I'm sure he had a use for it.
@@punjabchan1988 bruh its probably his forest so he has a use for this tree. And second of all he can do whatever tf he want if its his property. You should say your opinion to the companies which are cutting down the rainforest for soja-beensa and not to a man who is probably more connected to the nature than all of the persons in this comment section.
Pls a "how to climb on a tree to attach a rope so that can cut down a tree"

The accuracy of his chops is insane. Anyone who has swung an axe knows how hard it is to be that precise especially when hitting with full power.
No
No
It ain’t hard at all.
Same as swinging a hammer. Do it often enough and it becomes second nature.
its not very hard at all
Outstanding axe work! I’ve seen folks who couldn’t cut that cleanly with a chain saw!
Bout time Rune! We were all going through withdrawals!
Jason Dillard I know!! This is my #1 channel I wait for every week!
I wonder where you are right now because you didn't post new videos. You're one of my inspirations to go solo camping. Doing your own things at your own pace is freedom. Looking forward for your new videos.🙏
Right now:
I am taking some time off. All is well. I am currently building a new blacksmith shop in Denmark (log cabin). Don't expect new videos before late 2020.
@@Vladimi617 Thanks for the reply.🙏
man, don't mind me i'm just having fun time reading theses wholesome comments
I find some peace in just watching this video. The silence is refreshing. No rambling coutry muzac in the background.

It probably wouldn’t have made a sound if he wasn’t there.
Yes because it would still be standing

I don't get this joke, can someone please explain
Somali Pirate 1955 There’s a saying, “ if a tree falls and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound ? “ I was making a joke based on that saying, but the tree wouldn’t have fallen if he didn’t cut it down so it doesn’t really make that much sense.
@@salfrosolone4416 The tree never fell, until I watched the video.

He really should have gotten lessons from Kirito and just used a sword.

I started out watching video game guides and now I'm here and I have no regrets
Theres something about being in the outdoors and bushcrafting/cutting wood in such a raw and "primitive" way that is just... therapeutic. Loved the video
that's the third axe related lumberjack video you've recommended, mr algorithm
You’re one of the best at craft and wilderness! Hope to see more videos come fall/winter. Miss seeing your new videos pop up!
I never thought watching someone chop down a tree could be so entertaining
Someone is stealing your like-ness for a mobile game ad, just thought you should know
Same here. Just saw a bit from this video in an ad. I was so upset and angry. Like Why?
Who would steal such a good standalone video? Its just so scummy. Not that mobile ads werent already scummy.
Yeah idle lumberjack 3d by voodoo games
@peasant because mobile game companies have been known to use footage that is not theirs, completely not representative of the actual game and without any permission whatsoever all the time. Who are you to assume he was paid for that ad? Get off your high horse
@@RaiRai214 unfortunately the game used under 20 seconds of this guys footage so it falls under fair use x/
This is a felling technique I have never seen before and it is amazing!
It's called the strap method

everyone in youtube: are you a viking?
Pov: you're never gonna cut down a tree in your life but are still watching for no reason
very impressive axe work, I love how horizontal the cut at the bottom. I would go as for as to say that this is one of the best tree felling with an axe videoes on youtube

How can you tell it is dead?
Just a few things I'd like to say.
I think your videos are amazing, sure there are other bushcrafters out there.. but the audio, the video, the angles, the peacefulness in scenery. To me, it is absolutely fantastic and healing. Everyone has its own touch which I enjoyed too but I liked yours the most. They help a lot in these difficult times. All your efforts you made in your videos did sure help others as well and they might even be inspired to do their own thing. I think I speak for all if I say, "We all miss you Bertram!". I hope you are safe and healthy, we are all excited to see some more towards the end of the year.
Keep the good vibes up, smiling man! :-)
Congratulations! You have achieved level 99 in woodcutting!
