    Ooohhh, I see an ivory alternative! I wish that there was a way to educate everyone in Africa, Asia, and the whole world about collecting marine trash to melt, and turn into scrimshaw. Of course, they'd be too ignorant to listen unless we tell them that they'll make more of their weight in gold with that than by poaching animals to extinction.

    plastic should become illegal, that way we could avoid the damage to the ecosystem and also hinder the fossil fuel industry.

      +Nairod2 especially water in plastic bottles is crazy.... should use recycle paper/cardboard..........

      keith wisdom glass and organic materials should be the global standard. also the privatization of water in plastic bottles is another big damage to 1 economy 2 ecosystem.
      but oh well that is not going to happen corporations will exploit this planet for resources until life on earth is not suitable anymore. so we better stater evolving to digest plastics and petroleum derivatives.

    • @keithwisdom1663
      @keithwisdom1663 9 років тому

      Good points; just don't understand; corporation can still make money and save the earth.... I guess they don't care even about their own future family members......

      keith wisdom dogmatic indoctrination, the Pseudo-Religion (ideology) of major capitalist in the world is called Eugenics. they think they will be able to modify humans through genetic manipulation to the point of leaving behind our biological nature, or hoping they will develop technology to achieve eternal life. or what they call the "singularity" or the merge of humans whit technology.
      the ideal world of those who control the current socioeconomic structure of society would be a giant hive where humans become obsolete and replaceable and the few allowed to live will become servant of an Aristocratic minority. (but is not like we are far from that reality, basically that is what crony capitalism and state indoctrination is)
      so they don't care about the state of the ecosystem because if life in the planet starts to perish they will have the resources to live a normal life, or ultimately they will cede to be humans.
      *sigh* the kind of ideologies that occur when Humans lost contact with the natural processes of the universe.

    Amazing person and works!
    _I would love to buy a piece or two but I'm sure it would be hard._ *_Money & or availability of pieces would be issues to overcome._*
    I re-purpous many things, did so more in the past though. Made some projects, a table out of Japanese wood that was a crate. A CD/DVD/VHS rack made out of a heavy duty crate from Cincinnati Milacron. _Just a few things, nothing like this fellow is doing though._
    Cheers All,
    *James*

    Think of ALL the resources used in the manufacture of this luxury boat, could not be made without mining natural resources , plastics, fiberglass,stainless steel, and the camera used to record it all

      Art doesn't need to be economically viable 😸 it seldom is.
