Amelia's Makeover- Part Four: Trimming Bangs and Thinning 7 Wigs (Godiva's Secret Wigs Video)

In this video, Ro is joined by Amelia and her husband, Tom. About 8 months ago, Amelia started experiencing hair loss and even some bald spots. It was determined that it was caused by stress from multiple surgeries. Amelia and her husband drove 16 hours so that Amelia could come sit in Rochelle's chair for the makeover of a lifetime!
In Part One, Ro put our Moodiful Makeup on Amelia, to get her ready for wigs! In Part Two, she tried on 5 shorter wig styles. In Part Three, Amelia tries on 8 medium length wigs! And now in Part Four, Amelia has chosen 10 wigs to take home, and Ro will be trimming the bangs and thinning 7 of those wigs!
On some of the wigs she will use our Hot Air Brush to roll the bangs and then she will trim them. In others she will thin out the crown area of the wig or trim the sides. This is a wonderful video for learning how to do minor wig trims. Enjoy!

I have throughly enjoyed watching Amelia’s journey into the wig world. She is so beautiful! I love all the wigs she bought. I applaud her courage. I currently own 2 hair pieces and 3 wigs. I am thoroughly enjoying seeing how you use the hot air brush to redirect the top and bangs. I have the brush but it seems so hot, I have been afraid to use it. Now I can see how you lift, redirect and keep it moving. I think I can do that to help redirect and lift several of my wigs. Thank you so much for this video. Amelia is the perfect model❤️

Hi Lovely Girls!! Wow, Amelia you look so great in all of the styles & colors! It seems that you can wear all of the colors….& many styles! Ro did a fabulous job on the trimming etc. I must say, even though I loved them all, the Kelly style is a big favorite, along with Cristi …..just love them on you, and the face framing that Ro did was on point! The Irish spice color also is a great color on you……sorry I’ve been MIA Lol, just returned from Australia yesterday after 2 months. My friends kept saying my hair looked really nice, thanks to my Godiva Toppers! I’m waiting for the new smooth topper 👏🏽👏🏽😀💞

Greetings from the East Coast! This is a perfect example of how much fun difference wig styles and colors can be. You inspired me to try something a little different so I ordered Valerie in Irish Spice. I do love Irish Spice and have a couple of Sheila in this color. Valerie isn't a big jump from my usual Sheila and Courtney but I'm stepping out a little. My next will probably be Freedom, though Diana is speaking to me too. Oh the decisions! Thank you all!

Thank you for sharing. I also have a question. I have one of your wigs and a hair piece (forgot the names) but their remains a faint 'plastic-y' smell to both of them even after 2 washes. Can you suggest something that would diminish it? thankyou for your help.
Hi Sona, I really have no idea about this - have never smelled a plastic-y scent - unless it got slightly burned or melted. You might check out those items and consider how you're storing them, or what products outside of ours are you using? It will take a little detective work on your part. Hope that helps! Ro
