Hello Linda, Sandy Silver's base color is a medium brown grey blended with a light grey around the face so it will not have dark tones to it. If you are looking for something with a darker color in the Sheila, I can definitely recommend the color Midnite Pearl which is a dark brown with subtle silver strands throughout and a light grey around the face.

I agree with you Sandi, as I keep making choices, then see more great videos, and start choosing all over again! We in Scotland, do not have this wonderful service of seeing the wigs on, and how to style and care for them! The girls are so happy and full of beans as well! I really like the grays! I have a hard time keeping my sideburns covered. They are salt and pepper , with the darkest hair closer to the front of my ear. It seems to show no matter what I do to hide them. I keep them short but I’m wondering if I should keep them long enough to put behind my ears.
Hello A Mitchell, some people do keep their sideburns long and find ways to blend it in with the wig. Depending on if the wig style is long enough, you should be able to pull them out and blend with the wig. If the style is too short then of course, this method would be more challenging to hide. You two are soooo cute. Going thru breast cancer and hair has always been fine but now starting to get very thin. I have short hair in gray so I thought Sheila would be the best choice for me because I like to spike it up a bit. I have never worn a wig (71) but I’m going to give it a try. I like the look of the silver stone colors. Like darker in the back n lighter in the front. Do any of the other colors come in that kind of look? Say with a champagne front with a darker color blonde back? The 1st wig that the younger lady had on would look great with a blonde streak on a darker back. 🤔
Hi Marci, we don't have any blonde colors that are like as you mentioned. They tend to have about 1-3 color variations. Like for an example the Nutmeg-F is a strawberry blond but with very light blond highlights all throughout, or the color Sandalwood-H which is a golden blond with fine highlights of very light golden blond. So while we do not necessarily have a darker mix with the light blond in the front, we do have many beautiful blond shades in our wigs. You could try that for sure. What keeps our wigs feeling better longer is the less use of alcohol. Then, some clients just do what they want and may need to replace a little sooner - all up to you! Ro
Hi Penelope, Rochelle here! Great question! First, when making our videos, our wigs are going on and off and adding wig caps just take more time. Personally, I don't ever wear one. For me, a wig cap is used for trying on wigs in a store, to help hide your hair or to help secure the wig on your head for a better fit. It is also for cancer patients; when their hair is releasing during chemo treatment, the scalp is very soft and slippery. For added security, I prefer using metal clips, a wig grip band or just bobby pins. rHi Danielle, after the water to spike the hair, our "Keep It There" Low Alcohol hair spray is what I used. I love this stuff because it has more water content and less alcohol, it doesn't dry the wig fiber out. I use it on my own hair too. It comes in 2 oz and 8 oz. sizes. Hello I would like to tell you I truly enjoy your videos and your lovely wigs. My question if you stop and review the video @10:18 when the wig is shown from the back it seems like you can see through to the cap. What can be done to avoid that, otherwise so lovely and natural looking from all other angles.
Hi Faith, Rochelle here! The cap is made with open wefts, so the white you see is the price tag attached and under the wig. Otherwise, Danielle's hair would show dark and mine would show blonde. Sorry, sometimes we get so into what we're doing (with no script) that we don't do everything perfectly. Trust me, if we took 2 more minutes; as if we were going to wear the wig out, nothing would show at all. Thanks for watching!

I would love to see other people post pics of themselves wearing " Kelly" in "sandy silver". OMG if your grey or going there that is a beautiful "youthful" wig. Im only 54 and went through weightloss surgery. Its been seven years and my long beautiful hair has taken a toll. Its plain just gone. I dont even have enough to make a small rat tail bun on the back of my head to hide the hair loss anymore. Quite disturbing to say the least. My question is Ive always been a blonde but I am pretty silver now. Do I go for "sandy silver", and just go for it? Wearing a wig is one thing. A little hard to accept a wig and possibly going grey all in one. I love the grey more than the blonde, but will others buy it? Or maybe they will more than I think because they see me and my little silver strand bun all the time. Uhg. decisions, decisions.

Maybe this is the beginning - because we receive soooo many comments like yours about the same thing - hair challenges/hair loss/ damaged hair/baldness/alopecia. You are not alone and your challenge is exactly why I started 23 years ago. 23 years ago, I had no college degree and no experience but a love for wigs and I wanted to make a difference in other women's lives. But I had to think differently in order to have success. I couldn't be a victim and have success at the same time. Same thing with wigs - the women who love their wigs like their best friends were where you are now. They had to find the courage to stop worrying about what other's think - they wanted a different hair experience for themselves in this life - They found their courage and got their first wig (which is always the hardest to choose - this is why I always suggest getting 2 wigs on the first order). The positive transformations these ladies experience every day is fun, spontaneous, exciting and makes us feel alive! So, I'd definitely go for Kelly. If you want a little lighter and brighter than Sandy Silver - go for the Silver Stone - my personal favorite color in Kelly. Or, purchase both. You can return if you don't want. How do you get the wig to stay on so easily? I watch all your videos and just ordered my first ever wig. I did not get a wig grip and i have short bio hair. As soon as I try to get my wig on, it starts popping off my head. Is this because I need a larger cap size? My hair is layered and the wig just slips off.
Hello Kristie, a Wig Grip Band could work but it could also be that the wig is too small. Have you been able to measure your head for the correct size? Rochelle here - Also, since the wig is brand new, like a new pair of shoes, a simple stretch may do the trick - just hold the wig around the hairline first and stretch for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. See if that helps. Also, there are reinforced elastic straps on the bottom of our wigs - consider cutting just 1 end of 1 strap to see if that makes a difference. We take strategic, easy steps first, as you see what might work for you. Some clients end up cutting off both straps on the bottom and the wig fits great! Of course, the wig is a final sale once any changes, such as these, have been made. Hope that might help! xoxo

Hello Linda, Sandy Silver's base color is a medium brown grey blended with a light grey around the face so it will not have dark tones to it. If you are looking for something with a darker color in the Sheila, I can definitely recommend the color Midnite Pearl which is a dark brown with subtle silver strands throughout and a light grey around the face.

I agree with you Sandi, as I keep making choices, then see more great videos, and start choosing all over again! We in Scotland, do not have this wonderful service of seeing the wigs on, and how to style and care for them! The girls are so happy and full of beans as well! I really like the grays! I have a hard time keeping my sideburns covered. They are salt and pepper , with the darkest hair closer to the front of my ear. It seems to show no matter what I do to hide them. I keep them short but I’m wondering if I should keep them long enough to put behind my ears.
Hello A Mitchell, some people do keep their sideburns long and find ways to blend it in with the wig. Depending on if the wig style is long enough, you should be able to pull them out and blend with the wig. If the style is too short then of course, this method would be more challenging to hide. You two are soooo cute. Going thru breast cancer and hair has always been fine but now starting to get very thin. I have short hair in gray so I thought Sheila would be the best choice for me because I like to spike it up a bit. I have never worn a wig (71) but I’m going to give it a try. I like the look of the silver stone colors. Like darker in the back n lighter in the front. Do any of the other colors come in that kind of look? Say with a champagne front with a darker color blonde back? The 1st wig that the younger lady had on would look great with a blonde streak on a darker back. 🤔
Hi Marci, we don't have any blonde colors that are like as you mentioned. They tend to have about 1-3 color variations. Like for an example the Nutmeg-F is a strawberry blond but with very light blond highlights all throughout, or the color Sandalwood-H which is a golden blond with fine highlights of very light golden blond. So while we do not necessarily have a darker mix with the light blond in the front, we do have many beautiful blond shades in our wigs. I'm wondering why they're not mentioning the obvious on the back of the Courtney wig, you can totally see the webbing.
What you see on Courtney is the white price tag as I flip the hair up and also, when I go really out with my Courtney or other short wigs, I don't flip up the hair with my hands like I did here. This is only to show you 6 edgy wigs. Thanks for asking! Ro

Hi Penelope, Rochelle here! Great question! First, when making our videos, our wigs are going on and off and adding wig caps just take more time. Personally, I don't ever wear one. For me, a wig cap is used for trying on wigs in a store, to help hide your hair or to help secure the wig on your head for a better fit. It is also for cancer patients; when their hair is releasing during chemo treatment, the scalp is very soft and slippery. For added security, I prefer using metal clips, a wig grip band or just bobby pins. If it's about security, here is a link to one of our videos about "8 Ways to Secure Your Wigs":

rHi Danielle, after the water to spike the hair, our "Keep It There" Low Alcohol hair spray is what I used. I love this stuff because it has more water content and less alcohol, it doesn't dry the wig fiber out. I use it on my own hair too. It comes in 2 oz and 8 oz. sizes. Hello I would like to tell you I truly enjoy your videos and your lovely wigs.
My question if you stop and review the video @10:18 when the wig is shown from the back it seems like you can see through to the cap. What can be done to avoid that, otherwise so lovely and natural looking from all other angles.
Hi Faith, Rochelle here! The cap is made with open wefts, so the white you see is the price tag attached and under the wig. Otherwise, Danielle's hair would show dark and mine would show blonde. Sorry, sometimes we get so into what we're doing (with no script) that we don't do everything perfectly. Trust me, if we took 2 more minutes; as if we were going to wear the wig out, nothing would show at all. Thanks for watching!

Love them, they all look good on you. I just wish they'd make some for with less hair for the older ladies so they can look more natural and sutle. They just don't look to natural on me, I feel like I'm wearing a coconut or a helmet.

I would love to see other people post pics of themselves wearing " Kelly" in "sandy silver". OMG if your grey or going there that is a beautiful "youthful" wig. Im only 54 and went through weightloss surgery. Its been seven years and my long beautiful hair has taken a toll. Its plain just gone. I dont even have enough to make a small rat tail bun on the back of my head to hide the hair loss anymore. Quite disturbing to say the least. My question is Ive always been a blonde but I am pretty silver now. Do I go for "sandy silver", and just go for it? Wearing a wig is one thing. A little hard to accept a wig and possibly going grey all in one. I love the grey more than the blonde, but will others buy it? Or maybe they will more than I think because they see me and my little silver strand bun all the time. Uhg. decisions, decisions.
Hi Sleek, Rochelle here and I have so much to say to you that I could write a book! Maybe this is the beginning - because we receive soooo many comments like yours about the same thing - hair challenges/hair loss/ damaged hair/baldness/alopecia. You are not alone and your challenge is exactly why I started 23 years ago. 23 years ago, I had no college degree and no experience but a love for wigs and I wanted to make a difference in other women's lives. But I had to think differently in order to have success. I couldn't be a victim and have success at the same time. Same thing with wigs - the women who love their wigs like their best friends were where you are now. They had to find the courage to stop worrying about what other's think - they wanted a different hair experience for themselves in this life - They found their courage and got their first wig (which is always the hardest to choose - this is why I always suggest getting 2 wigs on the first order). The positive transformations these ladies experience every day is fun, spontaneous, exciting and makes us feel alive! So, I'd definitely go for Kelly. If you want a little lighter and brighter than Sandy Silver - go for the Silver Stone - my personal favorite color in Kelly. Or, purchase both. You can return if you don't want. How do you get the wig to stay on so easily? I watch all your videos and just ordered my first ever wig. I did not get a wig grip and i have short bio hair. As soon as I try to get my wig on, it starts popping off my head. Is this because I need a larger cap size? My hair is layered and the wig just slips off.
Hello Kristie, a Wig Grip Band could work but it could also be that the wig is too small. Have you been able to measure your head for the correct size? You can do so by following a video I did at this link: info.godivassecretwigs.com/blog/wig-sizes

Rochelle here - Also, since the wig is brand new, like a new pair of shoes, a simple stretch may do the trick - just hold the wig around the hairline first and stretch for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. See if that helps. Also, there are reinforced elastic straps on the bottom of our wigs - consider cutting just 1 end of 1 strap to see if that makes a difference. We take strategic, easy steps first, as you see what might work for you. Some clients end up cutting off both straps on the bottom and the wig fits great! Of course, the wig is a final sale once any changes, such as these, have been made. Hope that might help! xoxo
