I absolutely LOVE that you included the clothes 'discussion' at the beginning - it was very funny! I vote to continue the video style like this, going into the future (which you might already have) - it makes you guys so relatable, and entertaining.
Lol. I love these kinds of fun little domestic spats. I remember the time I was in the semi-doghouse for a couple months for not remembering our anniversary date until she found the marriage certificate. These things are the spice of life. Love the intro.
I also love Rokugan stuff. Played the CCG for years. Absolutely planning on trying to pick it up at Gencon (which I've talked about going for more than 20 years and finally going).
I saw the Infinity Box in the thumbnail and got excited. I have Anachrony tabled right now and I decided that I'm systematically running through all the solo-able content - expansions and modules. So far I've done Chronobot 1.0, Chronobot 2.0, Chronossus, and Doomsday Module. Next is Pioneers of New Earth. I can't believe you didn't already have Captain America for Marvel Champions. He's a lot of fun to play. Especially in leadership with a bunch of allies. He's especially good if you're playing multiple heroes.
Cant wait to see what decks you end up making for Star wars unlimited. There's so much more variety now with shadows of the galaxy set that just came out. The artwork on the mat is jabbas rancor.
Brass Lancashire is my preferred version of Brass, but it’s not as great at 2 so I play Birmingham a LOT more. I love the omni-gamer ness of this channel. I love Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza to Spades to Massive Darkenss to COIN to 18xx and it’s rare to find people with similarly broad tastes. Hanimakoji is my wife’s and my favorite quick brain melty mind-reading game. So good. So simple but so brutal on the decisions. Congrats on getting Black Angel! My wife and I enjoy that one a good deal.
That clothing banter at the beginning reminds me SO MUCH of my partner and me, and it just makes me hope we get a chance to play a game together at some point, because it would be a lot of fun, very silly, and FULL of snark. Also, amazing haul. :) It's so intimidating just how many games are out there!!! Out of that huge haul, I know of a few but there are probably only four I'm really psyched to try (Elawa, Kinfire Delve, Flock Together, and Wandering Galaxy), and only three* that I've owned (Adrenaline and Last Will, plus the asterisk counting all those Unmatched sets as one thing). And that's despite a small haul (read: one of the biggest "hauls" I've ever had at once) of my own coming in this week, with ten games and three expansions set to show up. Would look pretty tiny next to all those gems!
Not gonna lie, I'm pretty darn stoked for the 'Kyle Pile' Also, Jeff, I'm with Brad regarding Middara. Heck, I would be down to help you run through some sessions, looks really cool!
Them are some bangers. No shame for Middara, it is a really well designed crawler. Anachrony is stellar, the big box makes it so much easier to table with all the organization. Must play Fractures of Time expansion! And On Mars, such a great addition to your collection. Very good games.
Those are some good additions to your collection! I'm really interested in many of them. Escape from New York for example is one of my favorite movies. And the theme in Rock Hard 1977 is SO cool. And Nature is one of my most wanted games. It's at least top 5 for me. Oh and Flock Together is so funny. The names of the chickens! And Andrew Bosley art! Could you tell me what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was called? This is one of my favorite franchises.
Ohmygosh, Hanamikoji was one of two games that got me into the hobby so it's very nostalgic for me! I bought it simply because I used to live in Japan... I didn't know anything about the game. Also, I have Terminus set up on my table and am starting to learn the rules. Hoping it won't be a heavy lift...
Are y'all going to get a copy of Sammu-Ramat? It's a war style game that came up through the Zenobia awards! But I haven't seen much content covering it at all
You guys are awesome and I just love your videos! Your "bouquet" vs "bouquet" debate reminds me of an old British show where the main character has to constantly correct people on how to pronounce her last name... Mrs. Bucket, pronounce Bouquet lol... ua-cam.com/video/FboWtJiNYro/v-deo.html
There is a fine line between a lot of things. There are medical definitions of hoarding disorders, so you might want to check those to see if you have the correct concept. From what I can see, Jamie and Jeff are deeply immersed in a hobby (and Jamie works in the field), and they have the space to house the games they own. They also actually play games all the time, and the accumulation of games isn't causing strife between them because they are both in agreement. They do also get rid of games rather than feeling anxiety that every game is precious. We could all likely be doing more altruistic things with our time and money, but Jamie and Jeff are taking care of themselves and are not a burden on anyone at present. There is not a cut off of a number of games that is too many because that can vary with circumstances. I only own around 40 games, but considering I only play a couple of times a month, that could be a bigger oversupply issue than someone who owns 400 games and plays multiple games daily.
I would say there's a huge line between hoarding and collecting. Hoarding tends to cause emotional or financial harm to the hoarder and their family. I see no harm being caused here. Copying your spouse's outfits is another story though.
Does a baker hoard loaves of bread? Does a philatelist hoard stamps? This is their hobby/passion/career. It also evidently gives them pleasure, which you are unable to diminish with your negativity.

A channel all about board games and bickering! hahahaha the first part of this video is everything!
me with popcorn! entertained!
Jeff isn’t really wrong about “Bouquet” - his take on it is closer to the original french way to say it.
Your room is gorgeous, I love those shelves.
Thanks! We love them too! ha
I also love Rokugan stuff. Played the CCG for years. Absolutely planning on trying to pick it up at Gencon (which I've talked about going for more than 20 years and finally going).
Ooo the gaslighting over a sweat shirt 😂 I love you guys. It reminds me of how my wife and I lose track of what technically belongs to who.
It's never ending hahah
I just grabbed Centipede, too! Excited to try it.
Ah, I really interested in Rock Hard 1977! Looking forward to the review on that one.
Coming soon!!

So many great games!!!

Haha thank you for noticing! We very much think we are omni gamers.
🖐️ I’m in that club too!

I love your couples banter and it makes me hope I find someone to be that close with :)
Liberty or death is one I have as well finally (got a few months ago) unfortunately haven't played yet. I hope you review it after it's played.
Tag yourself. I'm the cat meowing at the door
LOL!!

We play 60's surf music during Surfosaurus Max and make the dino meeple "surf" over to other player. Fun times.
That sounds amazing haha
Are your shelves full? Will you be doing a cull at some point?
Hey!! We don’t really cull games, small amounts to our friend but we won’t ever do a cull video on the channel.

Ooooo Dobson as a board game. Going to look into Agueda too. Anyway, sorry this isn't meant to be spam. Avoiding paragraphs.

Last Will is so much fun - especially since it's basically all about hate drafting or blocking the other players. :)
That sounds amazing! haha
Jeff! Unmatched Adventures: TMNT! *Are You Ready!?*
do you not have a video on the new Sugar and Spite release of Disney Villainous???
We don’t! We haven’t received the game to cover unfortunately
What is that turquoise Wingspan box on top of Wingspan Oceania?? :O
We did the same thing with adrenaline, you can get a dlc expansion to make 2 player better
Oh thats good to know!

Jamie, how do you not know what "Escape from NY" is? its a classic.
Jeff here. I also don’t know what it is
@@FostertheMeeple oh to be so young! lol. i was 15 years old when that movie came out in 1981. i am...well...too old now!
We’re gonna have to watch it, I feel like it’s our kind of movie!
@@FostertheMeeple yes, i think you will both like it. there is a sequel to it, "escape from LA"...not so good! lol
There’s a fine line between collecting and hoarding
Is there? What is it? Does our collection hurt you?
