I love Wet Wet Wet and I love Marti, the songs are iconic, I was raised on them. Just saw Marti last Sunday
All very sad...Marti was the man with Graham and the guys....Kevin does his best..but never be Marti...sorry.....😢😢

I am a Mexican fan of Marti and Graemme, I am very sad because such a good group separated, I am still with Marti and I will go again in October to see him
Stop the bus as they say , marti and the wets had a totally different opinions of work and I believe that Marti had projects and opportunities too big to turn down , do I like that he’s no longer in the band performing and touring No , the band is like a glove the 5 boys fitting together and become a serious fist , they already got backin 2007 for a 20th anniversary tour of popped in souled out which was magic , Glasgow concerts kick any city and any venue ass just ask the 5 boys and they will reluctantly Admit Glasgow ,the be all and end all of any concert but those days are so far gone I honestly do ever see them being back on stage as a band EVER AGAIN , marti is coming back with a new concert full orchestra doing popped in souled in Glasgow hydro in March 2024 , the band are playing far less venues with a new singer Kevin and seriousness I wish him all the success the west family will take him anywhere he wants to go and that’s a fact , but I seriously dispute about success that marti will never get he’s sold out the hydro ffs and other venues up and down the uk the boys are playing theatres and large pub venues come on stop it , show ambition and balls and get back to the hydros and other arenas of that ilk .one day god willing marti will explain his decision that I’m 100% sure of , been a major wet wet wet fan since 1987 seen every Glasgow tour as a band , CDs dvds the lot I’m having a honest opinion here not mean to offend the quarter bottle brigade …those who know ….. peace and love ❤️

The Wets are better off without Pellow he’s shit on his SCHOOL FRIENDS twice now! I’ve been a fan of WET WET WET since the beginning back in the 80s … it’s a shame Pellow left like he did but if you know the history of the band you’ll know behind that smile lurks a difficult man to work with!!
I for one am glad Kevin as replaced Pellow!! The Wets May never fill out massive arenas again but then again neither will Pellow!! But at least the Wets will be a lot happier with Kevin who’s smile is genuine and they can trust him 👍
When the first split happened it was for different reasons the success and demons took its toll on all the band. Don't forget Tommy left the Wets at one point too.
The Wets reunion was great while it lasted. I was at the Edinburgh Castle concert I turned to my friend and said something is not right. The bad atmosphere on stage was very noticeable. When Neil refused to talk to the crowd not only was it disrespectful to the fans I knew it was over. Dispite the animosity between him and Marti he should have over looked it for two minutes and acknowledged the fans. I love the hug between Marti and GD it was definitely a good bye old friend one. I normally leave the gigs buzzing this time I was so sad as I followed the Wets for 30+years. I said I'd never go and see the Wets again and never have.
We live in a society of where's there's blame there's a clam. Speculation of who's fault it was is not the point. The announcement had to happen at some point and someone had to to tell the fans about the split.
Both the Wets and Marti have moved on and are happy.
Its time to draw a line under what's happened and move on.
I have great memories of following the band and have made life long friends along the way. I have also lost many friends as I do not agree with the bitterness shown by some members of the band. The fact that folk are still dragging up old news is beyond me.

I don’t think we’ll ever know the real reason why he left! and you probably feel the same way I do as the wets where the soundtrack of my younger days I must of seen them over 25 times I was at Edinburgh castle in 92 the first time they played there it was a magical night 😄 I’ve heard a few people say what you said that there was an atmosphere on stage at the last gig! I suppose nothing lasts for ever
I did see WWW last year at REWIND FESTIVAL NORTH and I have to be honest KEV was outstanding and there was a real togetherness between them on stage 👍
As you said they have both moved on at least we have our memories 👍

@@Robert-y8l9r your right mate I was a big fan of the Wets in the day and was gutted when Marti left again… I was just a bit pissed off with him at the time as you can see I made that comment 2 years ago👍🏻
