She's just great. What a lovely lady Rita is. I love listening to her talking.
The Osmonds' sample was genius in the breakdown. ua-cam.com/video/iXcj8dFOd1E/v-deo.html
Good chat 👍
Thanks for this interview. she is very nice.
I'm so glad they've brought hidden Gems out. Bought both eps!!
i'm surprised this has not a lot more views & comments. i think folk my age don't realise N-Joi are active. On platforms like this & that they are releasing stuff. It was a long time ago. Magic times.
I have an uncle that said he could make a curry with dog food and it was nice😂😂
What a great interview 😊👍🏼
a big thing for me & my mates back in 90's at raves was N-Joi plus dancer Matt Jarrett long hair & glasses but no mention of him. Saffron is mentioned but she wasn't on Anthem. Anthem was samples. Saffron fronted live shows. N-Joi was Nigel, Mark & Matt Jarrett.
Bucks Fizz have a great catalogue of songs, I recall my mum saying i wanted to be in ABBA when i grew up, upon reflection knowing what i know now given the bands dynamic it was likely an unattainable goal, Astronaut would have been more possible
Great production video production btw 👍
Thank You
IMO and I’m sure many other Njoi music is timeless!! I’ve listened to live in mcr probably over a thousand times, nice interview, just shared with a couple of my mates who will appreciate, cheers all 3 of you, gave me a upbeat start to my day!!
What is the song you played right at the very end can you tell me the name please and wss it sung by Cheryl
He was the back beat of simple minds a truly brilliant drummer thank you for the memories
Loved his voice and look with "The Family"!
Excellent interview, thank you. I was at the Acadamy for the live in Mcr 12" What a night. It would be fair to say it changed my life. Along with 808 state at G-Mex Mcr. Peace and love. Huge thanks to everyone that made this scene what it was ❤
Thank You
Yuk!!
Love this, only just seen this interview 🥰
Just retire. Sad bastards😅
Wet. That's all they are called without marty. I. Not a huge fan, but these clowns thinking they can carry on without the main character. 😅😅😅
i'll be your friend is such a tune
❤❤❤❤
amazing lady...
judy cheeks!!!!!! house legend.
Loving this woman .very classy and i RESPECT HER X
Really interesting ) savage - Joe In Ireland
Love you Brian ❤
Man listening to both parts of this interview its incredible to hear how modest and humble the pair of them are and when they talk of how humbling it is to hear how they touched peoples lives with their music, I’d hedge my bets they still really have no real idea how strong that influence ran. They effectively pioneered a sound which became soundtracks to peoples lives in the form of either, personal stereo’s, car and home stereo’s or at events themselves. Thankyou guys and it’s easy to see when you both speak why aside from the music you make, you are so well respected.
What a comment thank you means a lot to get feedback even for the lads
Des is a true gentleman and the most incredible naturally talented DJ ever to stretch the wax any ware in the world . What this guy does is what happens when talent and pure love for a vocation is aloud to run riot. 😊
Judy…Love it!👍🏾
Thanks Ron…❤
Amazing vocalist. She kinda reminds me of of Leah Remini a bit.
I sang with Hamish at Aberdeen TC in the seventies and he was such a star and sang on past the finishing time . A lovely man whom I met in Broomhill when I was a wee boy just starting out singing folk stuff . Sadly missed
I wish there was a hamish intervew
Todd Pipes is still sexy
Can’t believe Nigel’s brother was the manager for the prodigy for 20 years especially when these 2 bands were the kings at that time before 93 it was N’Joi then the prodigy stole the crown as the best live Pa. N’Joi always my favourite in the real rave years of 90/93. 🕊️✌️🕊️
Respect to DJ Yella, should get a lot more credit and recognition to contributing to the biggest influental (real) hip hop group from the 80s. Comparable to the Beatles of Hip Hop. Most became some the richest entreprenours... Dr Dre, Ice Cube...
Please pass this message onto Des. Hi des it’s Keith (kg) from Stratford upon Avon. I hope you remember me. I would love to have a chat after watching this podcast. Kg

maritin is my uncle
How old is he? His voice is very good for his (age) ua-cam.com/video/F1S2-6X__OI/v-deo.htmlsi=c_eKGEZXVxB0szfN
been a fan of n-joi tunes since the early 90s. the first tune i heard was Adrenalin. At the time, i had never heard a vibe like that in all my life. i was like holy shit , what is this stuff. The n-joi live in Manchester tape used to get some hammer in my car too. i still blast many of their tunes in a mix set when i do my radio streams.
The best singer this country has ever produced you gave my generation a reason to party and have fun love this girl she is a diamond
Loved Wheech . IMO he’s the original and best.
I love Wet Wet Wet and I love Marti, the songs are iconic, I was raised on them. Just saw Marti last Sunday
N JOI fundiu tudo que é fundamental Para ser o quê é.na opinião eles artistas totalmente e musicalidade completos. No que fazem.
Inside Out is my fave Electronic album and would take something extremely special to beat it, to me it’s Pure Perfection
Yeah it’s over. And if you expect a recovering alcoholic drug addict to spend time with you and your toxic friends. You were only on stage anyway
Silly Marti thinking he could do it alone and Graham Duffin can’t string two words together. Graham Clarke with his face like a Lurgan spade he needs a wardrobe mirror to shave 😂😂
I have the Live at the Astoria video which I recorded off of Dance Daze on TV. Techno Gangsters, Century Gangsters, etc. Absolutely shit-hot. Kickin'!
Yes I had this - on VHS!
@@samanthataylor5444 Of the two dancers, I thought that the guy in black and white was superb. So much so that I used to replay, pause, play more, pause, until I had his moves memorised and then developed my own style from it. The little guy in black and yellow was trying hard, but did not look as cool.
