KOHLER COURAGE AIR FILTER SERVICE

An over oiled prefilter element will saturate the engine air filter and may prevent proper air flow and filtration.
Do not over oil the prefilter.
Whenever possible, before installing a freshly oiled prefilter, allow the prefilter to sit for a few hours on an absorbent towel/rag. If excessively oiled, the towel/rag will be saturated. Pat out excess oil as illustrated in the video.
Before working on engine or equipment, disable the engine as follows: 1) Disconnect spark plug lead(s). 2) Disconnect negative (-) battery cable from battery.
