One thing I love about this game is the sound design. Most of what your hear here, especially during enemy encounters are these harsh, loud, strident and crushingly oppressive soundscapes that pump the tension up to 100, almost like something you would find on a Merzbow album if Merzbow decided to make an 8bit Harsh Noise record. Everything in this game is unpleasant to hear, the demon's screeches are absolutely blood curdling and even your own voice is very strange and unsettling. Honestly the decision to have all voices being done by the SAM text to speech program is kinda genius, it enhances the overall 8bit retro aesthetic of the game while also providing more unnerving sonic palletes into the mix due to the uncanny valley feeling it evokes. Me when my father pull out the belt: 1:20:18
I find it hilarious that after John does Lisa'a exorcism in chapter 3 apartment building, she is just standing outside smoking cigarette as if nothing happened and still wants to stay alone in that haunted building, like how dude? Tiffany is still there if John leaves without killing her
I never can see what happen in the elevator game when appears a purple priest .always kill to the protagonist
oh yes, don't worry, just try not to look at her, I repeat, DO NOT look at her, because otherwise she will kill you, and if she gets in the middle of the puzzle, just turn your back on her, finish it and finally leave the elevator. Always trying to turn his back on her and obviously as far away from her as possible.
Gary:nooooo you cant just use a cross to kill almost all demons
John: haha cross goes brr
I just realized that in the pink curtains there's the LOSS pannels XDDD
This might be one of those games which does NOT need a remake or movie to be scary.
The horror element is exquisite and really well done.
The 8 bits gross escenes are more than enough to give one's chills.
The lore itself is dark and macabre yet is based on many best sellers horror franchises ever like the Exorcist and more.
1:12:36 V1 ULTRAKILL
Bro really won a staring contest against a photo
Does anyone know how to get that scene of John in a straight jacket?
I’m pretty sure to get that you have to do something with getting caught by the big face demon (the third boss you need to defeat in order to break the seal) in The cultist place underneath the daycare
It’s in Manlybadassheros play through
The damnatio memoriae one has to be my favorite, it’s so fucked up

16:52 top right. middle drawing is W.D. Gaster lol

GARY DOES NOT LOVE YOU.

😭
is this the final chapter? would like to see garcia and ward again, probably a coop where you can play either john or garcia?
Considering that the UNSPEAKABLE, an antagonist thats been built up from the first chapter to now, is still alive, I imagine airdorf probably plans to make FAITH 2 or something.
Also by the way on the final boss fight it’s not Astaroth, it actually Gary’s final form
Gary is Astaroth
1:20:17 me when I stub my toe
wait so in order to get true ending and remove the sigil in room where we dropped that purple brick I have to beat all secret bosses? Like my comment if yes
The ultra kill reference caught me off guard 😭
Gee Idk man this Gary guy seems like a normal human just like you and me, maybe you are thinking about it a bit too much
I still have no idea who Lisa is. Didnt she have like. Only two lines of dialogue?
Apparently! she was in correspondence with Jhon before but i really have no idea how close their relationship is! feels so weird to go off with her in the end.

I was following a guide on Steam which neglected to mention that you have to spawn and exorcise the elevator demon before putting in the code. Such a disappointment when I saw there was still a barrier left.
In the Damnatio Memoriae ending it’s really cool to see Amy and Michael working together.
Thumnbail in 4 words: Im a healer, but...

Don't be afraid John
Damnit. I did all the secret bosses except the last one and I barely just missed the true ending. Now I gotta do it again

ok im late but in the hospital after the police finds john, the monster was peeking out of the window
thought this was a cool detail
Funny fact: in the "Hospital" u can hear a music from turkish youtuber porçay so that song is not from faith
"Do you have life insurance, john?"
I dont get why 7 is the floor for the hotel secret boss when it could have been 6 you know
