OMG, a train with all tank cars at the start of this video, love to see tank cars, thanks. That was one long train (the third one). The scenery was very beaautiful, love the diffrent color of leaves on the various trees. Thanks for a very outstansing Video, (Mississippi Gulf Coast, USA).

Nothing more pretty than a VN train going through Alberta and BC.canada .I want to someday to go to kicking horse pass.but money is tight right now helping other people out of work .but I still can enjoy it on the web just breath taken.thank you for these videos.these train engineers are so lucky they are getting paid to enjoy the scenery. Never never would I ever get tired of it.

I see your comments on these videos. I have lived in this region many years. I am NOT suggesting a "liasion" here, but to advise you that one way to beat high prices and busy highways is to go in May or October, and stay in towns like Valemount (close to Yellowhead Pass on the CN Line) or Golden (close to Kicking Horse Pass on the CP Line). Average price for a 3 star motor inn there is $100 / day, it can be twice that in Banff or Jasper towns, 3 times that in summer. A good route would be to fly in to Calgary, rent a car at the airport, maybe stay in Banff or nearby Canmore one day (80 miles from Calgary) then drive to Golden (80 miles one-way) on Hwy 1 through K.H. pass, maybe go over to Revelstoke for a day through Rogers Pass (100 miles one-way) then backtrack over the pass to Golden, then drive up the stunning Icefield Parkway Lake Louise to Jasper (200 miles from Golden), maybe stay a day or two there, then drive over to Valemount (100 miles one-way), where most of this was filmed between there and the village of Blue River. If you enter "Valemount" or "Golden" on google images you will see some of the scenery typical of the area and not always shown in these videos. Backtrack to Calgary, the routes are so spectacular everywhere one drive does not cover it, there are lots of tourist videos on YT of Banff, Jasper, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks. Be advised that some of these "rail-line" viewpoints are NOT marked by highway signage and can be easy to miss. Watch out for bears and frost on the roads in May or October, otherwise rural Canada is generally very safe.

I want to thank you for showing the entire consist in your videos. There's so much more to a train than just the locomotives.

This is one of my top favorite places (Moose Lake) with that nice green/blue water colours in the shade really awesome to record and you captured that with the right contrast and saturation with the fall foliage! - Have you ever been to Red Pass BC? its a few miles west from this location. Thanks for posting!

Usually they have an empty crusher car before&after& in between every few tankers in case of derailment.

@@sontungle2641 Yes, from Perth. I was very privileged to visit Vietnam in 2015. Cant wait to go back, i loved it there. Even managed to photograph some freight trains in Hanoi and then again between Hue & Da Nang.
